Belichick is a man on a downward trend. It will be hard to do much better than the current 25 point scoring differential the Patriots team has over their opponents. Last week, it was 26.67. I think we should switch captains and find someone who has a lot of room to grow. I see no way with us ending the season with above a 20 point average differential for the season at this point.

Also, Brady. First, he's the most paid on the team, so we could bring in a rookie for $2 million. Next, he uses fewer targets than last year. It's Randy this and Randy that. We could have a 22 year old throw to Randy. Look at the running game this week. Do we really need to pay Tom Brady to hand off the ball? Let's trade him to Buffalo.

Finally, I'm still partial to Vinatieri. Let's offer him $5 million per year to return to the Patriots. We sure as heck had more Super Bowl wins when he was with us. Pats and Colts with Vinatieri - 4 Super Bowls. Pats and Colts without: 0. In their entire history of the Pats and Colts, no Super Bowl rings for teams without Vinatieri. Getting Vinatieri may not help us win the big one since his teams don't always go on, but it will guarantee the Colts don't.

Look!...here comes a speeding train...RUN FORREST RUN!!!

I agree what you say makes alot of sense, I think they should get on it right away. Maybe the jets would trade Kellen Clemmons to us for Brady and our First round draft pick from SF. wadda ya think. you think the jets will go for it? I hope so. Bradys getting over paid, and hes just, well just old and boring.

I think the time is ripe for Kraft to apprach Woody Johnson and offer to trade coaches, Belichick for Mangini. Of course, the Jets would have to throw in every 1st and 2nd round pick until 2012, but it might be worth it for them. It wouldn't hurt the Patriots much, everone in the know knows that it's Scarnecchia who really runs things in Foxboro.

NY Daily News reported that, although Kraft is keeping quiet on the whole issue, the entire reason he hired Belichick was so he would bring along Mangini to the New England Patriots from the New York Jets. So your idea could very well hold true. What ended up happening is that Mangini left by Bill's ineptitude to control him, which is why, if Bill doesn't get a 4th Super Bowl this year, he may well be fired. At least, that's what I bet it did say in some New York paper.

Nevermind all this....I need to know which team is favored to win the gold in Men's Field Hockey, Beijing '08.

 . Great post. The fact that we scored 10.5% fewer points this week completely backs up your point.

Even by American standards, you weren't subtle, so I pity anyone who thought you were being serious. It made me laugh, though (I suspect that's damning it with faint praise in some eyes).

The team that wins the most games in the knockout stages. You're welcome. Actually, GB won it once and that was when it was played in Seoul. In fact, it might have been in '88. There you go: Asian based games, year ending in 8. Back us Brits. You know it makes sense. :D
