He had a nice solid game, made a couple of big plays. Obviously he's probably not getting as much action as he'd like or as he expected when he signed here. But any worry I had was alleviated when I saw him on the sideline with Moss after Randy's 2nd TD. Chest-bump, celebrating, trying to give Randy the TD ball.

I had heard Donte was a good team guy. So far, so good.

Yeah, I made a similar post about it. The win is the first priority for the players on this team.

Agreed.

8 rec. for 115 yards?

Probably not what he had hoped for either.

Can you imagine LT or TO doing that? HELLLLLLLL NO!

He could quiety go for 800 yards and nobody would notice. Its hard to tell watching the games on TV when the ball isnt going to him if he has good route running or not or maybe he is just not synced up with Brady. Hopefully he is crisp so when the Moss rage cools off he can step up for as a big time #2 man.

4 for 49 isn't too shabby, and a couple of those were big plays, good hustle plays. I like him. He'll get his TDs.

It's got to be a bit frustrating for him but when you see some of the absolute insane catches that Moss continues to make, you gotta know that Brady will be looking to him as a first option.

I hope Stallworth doesn't let the lack of attention up to this point get to him. Eventually somebody is going to do a half decent job of covering Moss and he will have his day.

I'm glad somebody's given him credit.

I've worried about Stallworth, as he was an elite FA lost in the NE shuffle.

Similar to Moss, he's gotten a lot of grief, undeserved, and shown a lot of love to his community. I've followed him since his NO days when he was drafted.

He has shown, to me, nothing but support of his team. He has shown nothing but comradrery when Moss, Watson, et al have been given glory. I imagine he might be frustrated, but then again, he only had 32 receptions last year. He's never been the primary receiver.

That Brady seemed to seek him out this game is good sign. But, kudos to the OP. Stallworth HAS been a team player. He has not only seemed to be willing to be a diversion, but has accepted a secondary role and still rejoices in success.

Stallworth was injured. He's now getting healthy. Teams will also keep rolling coverage over to Moss. So, as Stallworth closes in on 100% health, his game will continue to improve.

This team is so loaded, and its prospects so good, that people are cracking out electron microscopes in an attempt to find things to worry about.

Credit the atmosphere in that locker room. And credit Moss for reading that as well as he reads defenses and not just fitting in and doing his job but becoming coach and mentor to all the other WR's and even DB's on the roster. None of whom are stupid and all of whom can see the difference between what they can do and what a freak does and likely feel just a little humbled by that. And credit Brady who works a room or a teamate as well as I can ever remember. Their styles are different but like his boss he knows how to get through to these guys about their roles and motivate them to just want to do better for him because of how hard he is pulling for them.

Our only weakness is that our players are mortal so they could get injured. Thats it, seriously.

I noticed last night that virtually everytime Moss caught the ball, Stallworth was the first to go over and extend a hand to help him up.
That wide receiver screen when Stallworth picked up 20+ yards for the first down was a great play. Brady went to him again right after that, too. I think Stallworth will get his catrches, its just that Moss has been insane.

I think the other worry is the Colts, who have a very good team this year as well. I want homefield in the playoffs.

And our red zone defense.

Brady is starting to throw to him a little more to. He had drop on that sliding play around the 4 yard line. Granted, it was a tough sliding catch, but it hit him in the numbers. He's gonna have to start catching those soon.

Other than that, I do notice, he's one of the first over to congratulate a teammate when they score.

Didn't our red zone defense do better last night, wasn't that pick by Assante a Red Zone Save ? That was a first for the year right, turning someone away with nothing ?
