Re: I'm sorry to post this....

As I've always said EEI can be summed up in one sentence. "Welcome to Patriots Monday. How 'bout them Red Sox."

EEi is the RS flagship station, with that being said.. they do ok by the Pats, not sure what anyone expects all pats all the time.. not sure that would attract advertisers.. I suspect in the future EEI will be the flagship of the Pats also.

I don't think anyone expects Pats all the time.

But you'd the think they could dedicate an entire gameday to it......right?

And even when the Sox are done with their season and the Pats are in the playoffs it's still 90+% Sox front office talk.

Re: I'm sorry to post this....

Which reminds me of something else....

This is just my OP, but I'd like to get others as well.

I'm sexist when it comes to being a football fan...there, I said it!

I don't want to hear a woman announcing a football game. I can't imagine hearing "...OH, and he's NAILED just shy of the goal line" coming from a woman's voice...is it just me?

If I want to have a good football discussion, it has to be with men even though I know there are some women who know their football.

And if I'm gonna watch my team in the BIG GAME, I prefer watching it with other men...men...men...men...men...men...IS IT JUST ME?
Personally, I'd rather talk with a woman who is knowledgable than with a man who doesn't know what he is talking about.

I would rather listen to Wendi Nix than Felger. Not because she is a woman, but because she can analyze football situations, whereas Felger only wants to make controversial noise.

You think it is funny to hear a woman say that someone was nailed just shy of the goal line? When was the last time you stood up Jerome Bettis at the goal line?

But to answer your question, No, it's not just you. There are other men who put more weight into whether a person has a penis than if they know what they are talking about, just as there are women who do not want to hear men talk about raising a child. Sexism and rascism, attributing characteristics to people you don't even know, is alive and well, alas.

p.s. Repeating men men men in your post reminds me of the old Martin Mull song (Men):

It's great to be on a ship with men and sail across the sea-o,
We don't know where we'll land or when, but it's great to be with men
It's great to be with men

'Cause men can sweat and men can stink and no one seems to care-o,
We'll throw the dishes in the sink and clog the drain with hair-o,
(Clog the drain with hair-o)

Men, men, men.
It's a ship all filled with men.
So batten down the ladies room, there's no one here but men
Men, Men, Men, Men
Men, Men, Men, Men

There's men above, there's men below, there's men down in the galley,
There's Butch and Spike And Buzz and Biff
And one guy we call Sally
(And one guy we call Sally)

Men, men, men.
It's a ship all filled with men.
You'll never have to lift the seat, there's no one here but men
Men, Men, Men, Men
Men, Men, Men, Men

We're men and friends until the end and none of us are sissies,
At night we sleep in separate beds and blow each other kissies
(And blow each other kissies)

Men, men, men.
It's a ship all filled with men.
So throw your rubbers overboard, there's no one here but men
Ahhhhhhhhh, Mennnnn.
