Listening to a lot of folks, I'm sensing people are starting to take an attitude like, Indy has beat some good team so far and we haven't.

It goes like this:

Indy beat the Saints. Ahem....wow!

Indy beat the Titans. by 2 points

Indy beat the Texans who kept it close, whom in turn got beat by ATLANTA!

Indy beat Denver, who has lost the heart of their D in AL WIlson and Trevor Pryce. They didn't have Javon Walker to stretch the field nor John Lynch to help in run support. A Denver team that has only beat Buffalo and Oakland in very close games.

Does Indy scare me. Sure. They are the closest thing to us in talent.

But all I know is a severely depleted Patriot team was a half hour away from taking that game in Indy last year and going to the Super Bowl.

Indy is 4-0 and playing well. Last year doesn't matter.

I never said they weren't playing well. They won the games that should, but none of those victories were any less or more impressive than what the Pats have done so far.

That's all.

Indy is 4-0. They and the Pats are neck and neck, as they have been seemingly forever. I think the Patriots have the better team, since they went out of their way to design a team that can beat Indy (it's already better than any other team, they just need to beat Indy... Adalius solves Clark and better receivers allow you to burn the Colts suspect secondary), but it's debateable.

I agree. However, you will find by year's end that the win against the Titans was a very big win, against a team with a winning record, perhaps even a playoff team. The colts have a much more difficult schedule in division games than we do.

Other then the results from tonight, we're playing as good if not better

Could you try missing MORE points on this board? The point, I believe, is that there's been a lot of talk about the Patriots strength-of-schedule, and less criticism of Indy's. This thread is meant to bring those comparisons in starker relief.

Colts fans said the AFC East is easy, and the Colts had to play the same teams as the Patriots last year.

October 1 -- Indy beats Jets by 3 points (fluke, right?)

November 12 -- Indy beat Buffalo by one point.
November 19 -- Indy lost to Dallas.
December 3 -- Indy lost to Tennesee.
December 10 -- Indy lost to Jacksonville.
December 18 -- Colts fans now want to to get rid of Dungy. Indy beats the Bengals, stopping some complaints.
December 24 -- Indy lost to Houston. Colts fans gave up on their team, Dungy, and the season.
December 31 -- Indy almost loses to Miami. The Colts completely give up on the season, since Miami is supposed to be the second weakest AFC team, and Houston was the other one.

Indy ranked last in every poll to win the Super Bowl or the AFC Title. Colts finally pull out a streak of three games. Colts gave up 21 points in the first half against the Patriots who had the flu from beating the Chargers.

Dungy may act like a saint, but he would have likely been seen as the cog holding Manning back had the Colts lost to KC or Pats, and Colts would have a new coach this or next year.

This returning Colts team is an absolute disaster. They allowed the sick Patriots with Brady playing with all-new receivers except Brown, who were all bad, who were dropping balls, to take a 21 point lead against them at home. They do not compare to the Patriots, who improved their defense and quintupled their offensive power.
