Browns 14-0 so far.

Go Romeo.

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

17-3....

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

Annnndd Baltimore just fumbled on the kickoff return. This team went 13-3? Jesus.

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

Any interest in combining the early game threads into one thread? I'm not being a thread-nazi here, I just enjoy the convenience of one-stop shopping for news and insights.

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

considering balt defense..this might be a tougher challenge next week against cleveland

Surely....no biggin'

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

I was going to start an early game thread, but there were like 3 threads already. Mods, merge?

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

24-3 Cleveland after a Jamal Lewis TD.

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

There's NO WAY the Ravens have the O to come back.

no but Browns have the offense to give it away with Anderson.

and Ravens have a defense to create turnovers .. which they havent really done today as they let Browns get 24 points on them

Re: Cleveland/Balt.

This messes up my Pick 'Em picks, but I don't care. I love it. Cleveland! ROMEO!!!!

I'm doubly glad that the Brownies won, but I have to say:

The TD that Jamal Lewis scored in the 2nd quarter was not a TD, and would (or should) have been reversed, had Billick thrown the red flag earlier.

In my opinion, the rule that allows a football to merely "break the plane" of the goal-line to be scored a TD is the stupidest, lamest, most irresponsible rule in the history of NA team sports.

And the zebras do a terrible job overall of spotting the ball, every...single...week.

Especially considering the name TOUCH DOWN comes from the fact that in Rugby the scorer has to actually touch the ball onto the ground before it's a score.

Just like the name of our sport, the irony is . . . interesting :D

(((WHOOSH)))

And just like that Cleveland goes on to lose 4 games straight.

After watching them pick Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, Gerard Warren and William Green along 4 wide receivers in the second round in 4 consecutive drafts to start their franchise it must be nice for the Browns faithful to see some high picks that work out.

My thoughts exactly re:rugby rules. Either have the man stand/sit/kneel/lie in the end zone, with the football, or have him reach into the end zone and touch the ball onto the ground, before his knees do likewise. Simple as that.
