is trent edwards the bill's tom brady? he played big in the clutch against the jets... the same poise tom brady has...

you thoughts...

Cmon..................

It's only one game and it's only the Jets.

Not enough of a sample to really make any conclusions.

My thoughts are it takes more than one good game against a bad team to become a Tom Brady. He is creating game film off which DC's will game plan for him. For now he has the element of surprise and probably a carefully crafted and limited playbook on his side.

Too early for that over the top speculation. But the QB controversy seems to be over.

I would take a real quality sandwich over JP Losman, so in that respect I would keep Edwards playing.

He didn't do anything spectacular today, though. He played against a defensive line unsuited for the defense it's playing, and a secondary that seemed to be twirling around in space without aim.

A lot of Tom Brady is Bill Belichick.

the way i look at it players like brady, montana, manning, marino and those types only come around once and a while.. every new qb isnt going ot be the next brady..

the way it happens maybe, skills wise probably not..

Why is it that every new QB who has a little success has to be compared to Brady? He beat the JETS. Big deal.

I don't know, but the Bills shouldn't be whining about that hit anymore.

Tom Brady, of course not.
But THE BILLS' TB ... sure, good metaphor.
He looked really good, all things considered.

My question as i watched was ...
could Matt Cassel do that?
(I tend to think so. What think ye?)

Don't set your sights so high... You should have asked if he is the Bills Peyton Manning.

A lot of Tom Brady is Bill Belichick.

Actually, that's not true. The majority of Tom Brady was genetics. Bill and Charlie (in particular) will tell you so. Did they help his development once it was underway? Absolutely. But he got himself to that point almost to their amazement, and he had the capacity most college phenoms lack to take the best of what they offered him from a coaching standpoint and build off it exponentially to the point that a lot of Bill Belichick and Charlie Weis is/was Tom Brady..

You don't know that, Mo.
It is simply YOUR PREJUDICE that Tommy Terrific's nature outshines his nurture.
Yours, and Richard Dawkins' perhaps.

But Frezo and Hollywood are as likely to be correct
as you are.

I do know it because Bill and Charlie and my own eyes have told me so on any number of occasions when the subject came up.

I think they are pretty wrong on this one. One wonders why Belichick and Weis didn't teach Bledsoe how to move around the pocket the way Brady does.

Um, one word...NO.

YOUR OWN EYES
have told you that Brady's genes have more to do with his success
than the guidance/instruction/training ... the COACHING he received
from the best in the biz ?!

To repeat, you MIGHT be correct.
But you are so sure of it!
