I was just going to start a thread on the fact that Denver REALLY should be about to go 0-4. They definitely could've lost the first two games, and probably should have. Now, I'm all about "you are what you are," and so Denver will be 2-2, fair and square.

But if we're talking about how much of a challenge they will put up to the Patriots (or anyone else), it's fair to say, they're playing REALLY CRAPPY FOOTBALL this season so far.

The denver def is missing Lynch. I've always thought Dre bly overated. Champ Bailey is real good, but he's no Deion Sanders.

And Shanahan decided to deactivate his nose tackles so they can't stop the run.

Other than that, they're good.

The colts are a great team. But the Denver d is terrible.

tell me how many defenses around the league have made manning look like s**t. pats for a while ?pitt ? SD ?...not very many.
All the pressure on the qb works when he holds on long..he is throwing quick passes and addai is playing well..
Give credit to the colts offense. Broncos D is just like any other D over the years which has faced the colts.

Yes Lynch is out but all the hype about that team is a joke.

Broncos team speed is useless unless they can stay with the guy and make a tackle..


Harrison is out and you have supposedly two great over corners.. MATCH up Bailey on Harrison and Bly with Gonzalez.. Take your safety (Furgenson)and your SPEEDY LBers (gold or DJ) and double up on the COLTS TE.. And put the rest of your team in the box to stop the run!

WHY IN GODS NAME ARE THEY PLAYING ZONE?? Manning eats up zone.. Especially when there is no pas rush!

broncos D wasnt good..thats obvious but we need to give indy props.
Somehow we all seem to find fault with their opponents but that is a good offiense running the same stuff for yrs and still doing it perfectly.
Everyone is picking us as the best team in football whereas the colts are getting overlooked. kinda like the 2004 team we had when everyone picked indy to win when we were defending SB 38 and had won bunch of games in a row.
Again broncos D was bad but colts deserve as much praise for playing such consistent offense - as much as i oppose the colts.

You say that like Dallas Clark is a scrub. This is the same Dallas Clark that burned NE in the playoffs. :rocker:

And Champ Bailey is supposed to be the best cornerback in the league, you know, a guy who lines up against the best wide receivers in the league and take them out. I completely expect Dallas Clark to take advantage of backup LBs and third string safeties, but to make Champ Bailey look ridiculous.... wow.

To be honest, Champ wasn't playing that real well. Somebody was caught looking in the backfield. :nono:
