Buffalo has only an average offense, at best. Though they look to be good players, both Lynch and, obviously, Edwards are rookies, who should struggle against an experienced defense like the Jet's. Instead, the Bills questionable O-Line pushed pretty well against the Jet's front 7 in the second half and Edwards was free to spread the ball around and complete his short range passes.
Why didn't the Jets run it more? The Bills were down 3 defensive starters, including their best tackler - a rookie MLB no less - but the Jet's only rushed it 19 times (that's less than 5x/quarter!) in what was a low scoring game, strange decision. Wasn't Thomas Jones supposed to be some kind of steal and savior?
Plus, what happened to whirlwind Kerry Rhodes? The guy is a real player, why didn't they unleash him on Edwards to torment the QB like Rhodes has Brady in the past? I saw much of the game and hardly heard Rhodes' name at all.
