"How great was it coming back against the Patriots?"

"How great was it winning the SB?"

"How great is it having sons like that?"

"Looks like Eli's turning the corner, isn't he?" One comeback game and now Eli's arrived?

Why doesn't he ask him how great it is for him being the sports world's most blatant coat-tailer/hanger-on, and Peyton being the worst commercial whore ever?

Rome called Archie an NFL great. Not quite.

Rome's in LA and I can turn off the radio and hear the smooching all the way up to NorCal. Why do I listen to that guy......

Why do you listen? Why do folks rubberneck at car accidents or house fires?

There's something about human suffering (aka Rome) that forces folks to stare at it. Like moths to a flame, I guess.....

You know what I'd like to see sometime? Rome and Olbermann facing off on some show. Talk about hoping both sides could lose :)

Respects,

How many people would like to do what Jim Everett did? Much younger Rome there.

Rome is entertaining but clearly a hater and STILL a punk.

I believe that was staged or atleast i remember hearing that it was long ago. Regardless rome went off the air here about a year ago and cant say i really miss his show one bit.

Oh yeah? Never heard that. It is pretty much beyond what you'd think could happen, even with Rome, so maybe it was staged.

WTF is he supposed to say, and WTF do you care. Another example of an obsessed Pats fan. Archie was stuck on bad teams, but he could play QB. So can Peyton and Eli. Peyton is a funny mother to boot, so hop off.

Archie Manniong = overrated

Jim Rome = overrated

Period.

Hop off? Did a time vortex send us back to 1987? :bricks:

Rome kisses everyone' hineys. He'd never get anyone to come back on the show otherwise.

Not great but a lot better than Colin Cowherd (ESPN Radio) who has become completely angry, bitter and negative since his divorce earlier this year.

Rome to this day claims it wasn't staged. He says it almost cost him his career.

I don't think Everett is that good an actor.

Even Eric Wynalda, a soccer player, once threatened to beat Jim up.

Hey, HBM, who is your team?

You don't root for the Pats do you?

I am just asking. Who do you root for? Just put it out there. Its cool, you can say it.

Take a wild guess. I DID root for you guys in 1985. What a mistake THAT was. I never knew.

How great that you could whine your son to the team you chose for him?
