OK.....not to get too far ahead of myself, but besides next weeks game, i feel the Colts and Steelers our biggest hurdles. agree? also just to vent.....i love living in Scottsdale, AZ except the fact that i cannot watch my bosox or pats without paying xtra cash to get some sort of MLB or NFL package....only then do i wish i was living back in MA! :( anyways....any other games you all see as being tougher than these 2?

Better put Baltimore on or near the top of this question - That defense will be giving Brady fits and may be the game where Brady throws those 4 INTS,Baltimores front 7 are VERY good and Ed Reed is not so bad either in the back, not to mention its going to be in primetime which has not been the best thing for the Pats.

i thought he wasn't gonna do that anymore!! haha wasn't today that game? i was hopeing anyway. hmmmm

As the first quarter seemed to show quite adequately, the biggest hurdle is overconfidence. Lord knows far too many of the fans are exhibiting it.

I think the Pats fans are now EXPECTING 38 points at least in every game.

Sorry to say it,BUT its not going to happen every game.

End of story.....

Biggest hurdle? Ourselves and human nature/complacency. This team likely is way too good, players and coaches, to not win enough games to make it to the playoffs. The question is can we give it that 100 percent every Sunday? Can we stay hungry every Sunday? Every team is good enough to win on any given Sunday. No team is too good that if they don't give 100 percent, they don't run a good chance of losing. If BB can keep these guys focused, hungry and not believing the headlines, and if anyone can he can, this team will win a minimum of 13 or 14 games (barring major injuries which is always the wildcard in the NFL). As to the teams that will present us a tough task? Of course Indy (they are and have been good for a while). Outside of that, way too early in the season to say who will be tough come November. Anyone remember the Patriots under Carroll and how tough we looked in September versus how tough we looked in December? As good as the Patriots look right now, we haven't accomplished or clinched a thing. And imho a team better be playing as good if not better in December as it did in September. If not they likely end up at the Super Bowl...in a 50 yard line luxury box wondering why they aren't down on the field playing.

The biggest hurdle is the next game, and keeping everyone on the field.. so far our injuries have been minimal in the grand scale of things.

the next game is always a hurdle...well put

Denver and @Dallas are also tough games.

But injuries and mental toughness are always the biggest challenges for top flight teams.

We have a lot of tough games on our schedule.

Why not?...

Denver? I don't see them on the schedule.

Before the Bye I see three teams that could make it interesting.

Bengals, Cowboys and Colts

After the Bye its

Eagles, Ravens and Steelers

PATs have some tough teams ahead. it's no cake walk.
Colts are probably the toughest team they'll play. IMO

The Ravens? The Ravens who barely beat the Jets? They may be able to play some D, but they won't score enough on us to make it close.

That sums it up. The Cowboys and Colt games are tough because they are away. I don't think our D has faced a good offense yet, so I wonder how they will do against Cinci and Dallas.

San Diego is turning out to be not that good. Say what you want, but we have beaten teams with a combined 2-7 record. Right now, the cream of the crop is New England, Pittsburgh, the Colts, and Dallas.

Denver is not on our schedule... But do agree Dallas, and at Indy will be our big challenge..

can't you buy Boston local channels?

Anything can happen in the playoffs, like most top teams the Patriots biggest obsacle is health. I am nervous about the age of our LB core and their ability to hold up all season. Getting a bye in the playoffs will help a lot.

I do not think so. Baltimore has been lucky to win the games they have won. I mean, c'mon Kurt Warner ripped them apart. San Diego's front seven are also supposed to be very good.:)
