Some thoughts:
1. It can only be a good play if you're SURE the receiving player is looking for it.
2. Moss was involved in a similar play in Minny. That time, he'd actually practiced it unofficially with the other receiver (I forget who). It was well-publicized.
3. Moss looked like he was cruising by more ready for a lateral than to throw a block. Even if that was just an illusion, at a minimum he seemed ready for a lateral.
4. None of the above will make BB approve. It may, however, make him less drastically disapproving ...
5. One of Brady's few weak spots is taking silly chances when ahead. So, notwithstanding #4, BB is apt to come down on this like a ton of bricks, for Tom's case as much as anything.
