Moss would have helped Green Bay a lot.

yea it was quite well reported at the time and were pissed when we got him, but apparently they were only willing to part with a lower pick, they were in discussions for quite a long time with Oakland.

Isn't this one of the best-known rumors of the entire off-season and isn't Green Bay 3-0 without Moss? Do they really "need" him?

You never know. Hindsight isn't always 20/20. He might not have made it through camp without indicent. Especially if once Brett actually started showing up his hammy was acting up.

Moss also wouldn't renegotiate his contract for anyone but the Patriots.

And we'd likely be 3-0 without him also. However, Moss makes a huge difference, and it is a long season.

Hard to argue with that.

Moss is what makes the Patriots the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite though. People will be shocked if the Packers win a playoff game or two.

Green Bay with Moss would be the heavy favorite to win the NFC. And perhaps if the GB fron office was as serious as New England about getting Moss, he might have renegotiated his contract. In any case, I'm obviously ecstatic that we won the competition for Moss. And I understand why Favre was so pi$$ed at his front office.

We played Chargers Sunday and we created Chargers Sundaes.

All Green Bay had was just enough cheese for the Chargers wine.

Patriots are Randy this year, but he's only one reason why. At the end of the season, the Patriots would have beaten the Packers with our other receivers even if Moss and Favre had a great year together.

Plus, Moss knows that Green Bay is one quarterback away from having a different rookie quarterback every year. The Patriots have Tom Brady.

Really? I don't think so. Serious question: are you Felger?

Green Bay with Moss would be the best team in the NFC, period.

Favre+Moss+Driver+top 10 defense = NFC Champions
