The game wasn't on here so I don't know how he looked today. I seen he ran for 100 yds but was he looking better and hitting the holes faster?
Brady to Moss and co is fine and will set some Pats records but I love the running game. When your in the playoffs and want to kill the clock you need to get that 2/3 yds in the final few minutes to ice the game.
What do you think?
thanks

Unfortunately, he didn't get any TDs, but he got quite a few first downs. And yeah, he did seem to do less shuffling behind the line of scrimmage.

I have now watched the jets game and the chargers game at least 3 times each and I find the "Lo-Mar is dancing too much" line to be WAY overplayed here. He has looked really good - not perfect, a LITTLE dancing - in every game, and today he looked the best so far. This running game is looking very good, IMO. No worries whatsoever.

The OL seems to be comfortable with the zone blocking scheme for Maroney. At least that is what I think they are doing out there for Maroney. It looks like controlled chaos for the OL - after the snap find someone to block.

When he doesn't dance, he looks like Eric ****erson running the ball.

With Air Brady and Co we SHOULD break a lot of long runs imo.
Glad he looking better
thanks

Excellent comparison, I thought the same.

Only caught the first half, but i thought he looked much better

Sure he looked better. However, a better runner would have had 200 yards. The Bills were dreadful against the run, after their injuries.

The Pats ran more than passing today and Maroney finally got an opportunity to get in a groove. Not to mention the pats O-line wore down the bills d-line.

he split carries with morris, faulk and a couple with evans.

the day of the dominating back seems to have dwindled.

He definitely looked better. He's looked progressively better every game, IMO. This week there was hardly any dancing and, after he hit a hole, he did what got me so excited about him when he was at his best last season: he pushed the pile. Just a few times, but they were significant and not what you expect from a runner with Maroney's style. It's why I thought him special last year and this game was the first time I really noticed it since he started going downhill last season. Which is a positive sign.

Of course the most important thing is his lack of dancing, which as everyone has already said, was obvious in this game. I hope he sees what it did for him this game and continues it.

he Looked a little better today than past weeks I think he has looked good for the first 3 games.

I called his 100 yard performance in another thread (toot toot)

Agreed. Im a little worried about Maroney. He dances a little too much, and goes down a little too easy.

He needs to maybe bulk up a little in the weight room, and hit the holes a little harder.

He definitely had an easier time finding the hole today and blasting through it.

However, that may say more about the holes than it does about him.

goes down easily? he was 2nd in NFL last year or 3rd in yards after contact. behind Gore and possibly Henry :\

Some of you people are ridiculous. The guy is averaging 4.6 yards a carry yet all you do is knock him.

Could you post some more ridiculously stupid crap on here lately? This is asinine. Do you just TRY to be contrary or what?

they never seen a speedy back

they've watched Antwain Smith, Corey Dillon, etc way too much.

expectations: lower shoulder and pound repeatedly. not happening. hes a home run hitter

You guys are nuts. This is so silly. Maroney hasn't been perfect - no one has - but he has looked REALLY good this season. I love this idea that he's the only back who ever dances before the line and that EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS it's all on him, and has nothing to do with the fact that there is someone in the backfield and/or NO PLACE to run. Good Lord.

are you a smart fan? FINALLY WE GOT 1 HERE.

your 1 person i can agree with. plain stupid to think hes doing it because he just wants to. dancing is buying time to let a hole open up or cutback

hes not gonna run into a defender or 1 of our lineman if nothing is there. he wants to score each play..not get 1 yard
