does he get his starting job back? or do you think james sanders holds him off?

Re: when rodney comes back after next week..

Rodney is suspended for 4 games OR 4 weeks?
I was under the impression he can come in only AFTER the Bengals game.
Correct me if I am wrong!

You are correct, sir. Rodney can report after Pats @ Bungles.

Re: when rodney comes back after next week..

I think you bring rodney back slowly and he shares reps with sanders. keep them both fresh

Re: when rodney comes back after next week..

why fix what aint broke? let the youngster keep playing. Rodney hasnt earned anything yet. if he does better in practice, etc. bring him in slowly but Sanders has done well and i dont think it would be fair to just yank him out. yes i understand what Rodney means to me, to everyone and the team but i rather stick with Sanders, build his experience. Hes improved a ton and hes earned the right to be the starter

Re: when rodney comes back after next week..

Just like with Asante, initially upon returning Rodney will work his way into the rotation and get his reps. It takes a game or two to get into 'football shape' (speed + contact). The rest of the league and team will have played 4 games to his zero.

Step & repeat for Big Sey.

except Asante is young and getting paid $7.9 or w.e it is this season

Rodney is old and geting like 2 mill.

Rodney will be the starter.
I do wonder, though, if the embarrassment is such that he isn't quite the same fiery, aggressive leader.
Maybe he's more subdued, maybe not.
We'll see.

Their pay has ZERO to do with their PT. Do you follow BB and the Pats?

it does. if your paying a guy who dominated last year and only have him for 1 year as of now, then you gotta let him go out and make plays for u

Sanders is playing very well and theres no reason to let Harrison start yet unless he proves in practice hes better and can help us

get your money's worth. im not saying Sanders is better, im saying let them compete in practice because i see nothing wrong with Sanders yet.

In this meritrocacy he will have to earn his spot back, he knows it and it will not be an issue for either his or Sanders.. that is how things are done.

No way Rodney's not the starter.

What about Seymour?

Rodney lost his starting job breaking rules he knew was not allowed to do and must fight to get what was once his.

Make him earn it back or wait until Sanders has a bad game or two

Right now he does NOT deserve to start,We are doing fine so far why fix it if it ain't broken?

Guys who break NFL rules need to fight back for the job they has before suspension, not just pick up where they left off - It teaches nothing about breaking rules for players if you just put him there for the sake of doing it

yeah...uh...no

I guess the Chargers and Merriman never heard of that rule, lol.

Sanders looks very, very solid out there. Rodney may not be better at this stage. We'll see.

DISAGREE on the silly "money" theory, but Sanders will play, Rodney will work in, and Rodney will eventually see more time there than Sanders, 'though Sanders will still get plenty of action. That's my thought, anyway.

I'm not so sure the Head Coach can throw stones from a glass house on that one.

Sanders starts. Rodney watches a series or two at game speed and then comes in.

But I'm guessing he gets more reps than Sanders VERY soon -- unless he takes them from Wilson instead.

Is there any reason our starting safeties couldn't be Harrison/Sanders? I THINK they're good enough in coverage for that to work ...
