A Bills fan's take on "Cameragate"

Losman went to Tulane. He's probably a pretty smart guy (Shaun King, one of his predecessors there, is pretty well-spoken and intelligent himself), and has always struck me as one of the more well-spoken quarterbacks in the league. Oh, and there's a "tasteful" part of Buffalo? ;) (I'm from Albany, who am I to talk?)

I really like Losman. He's mobile and has a good arm. He's by far the second best QB in the AFC East. The Bills coaching staff has done a great job with him, and I thought he was ready to ascend into the second tier of NFL quarterbacks (behind the top tier of Brady, Manning, and Palmer), but maybe not quite yet.

I think you'll find that alot of the guys on this forum don't dislike the Bills. Passionate, diehard fans who suffered from heartbreak in the early 90s that only a Boston fan could relate to. Norwood brought back memories, I think, of "Too Many Men on the Ice," or "Roughing the Passer," or Bill Buckner for us. There's not the same hatred that we Patriots fans have for, say, the Jets, Dolphins, or Colts, our other other traditional division rivals (don't forget the Colts were in the AFC East until 2002). In fact, in any given season, I always say there's only two games I don't root for the Bills. If the Patriots went 16-0, I'd like to see the Bills go 14-2 and lose in the AFC Championship. ;)

Excellent Post!!

Excellent Post!!

I also forgot to add, I (and I suspect at least a few others here) were on the brink of being Bills fins when Anheuser-Busch was making a play for the team back in the early 90s, with plans of moving them to St. Louis. Luckily for us, Bob Kraft stepped in and kept the team in New England, but it was pretty close.

Hats off to your owner!! Our owner is a little stubborn and there is great concern by all Bills fans for their teams future in western New York. Your fortunate to have Kraft.

Stubborn old man we have!

Great points Shiva ,except the politcal agenda crap.

Shiva is NEM's brother from Buffalo....

We all think sundays game will be much closer than the line would indicate any comments in regards to how you think the game might go?

Like I said, I live is western NY (Rochester) and I don't mind the Bills at all (behind my beloved Pats), and with all the news here focused on then, it's hard NOT to follow them to a certain extent.

The Bills are in utter turmoil right now. Hard to put you're finger on the exact reasons, but I think the way they are playing right now, they are one of the worst 3-4 teams in the NFL (behind Atlanta and possibly KC, SL or even NO)..... In any event just BAD.

NE is clearly the class of the NFL. They cut through 2 former playoff teams like butter. Granted neither of those team are anything like they were last year, but still. BB is on a mission. Jauron had a few nicky-ticky comments last week that BB will not appreciate and he'll not be feeling real generous this Sunday (or many of the upcoming Sundays for that matter).

Look for NE to come out fast and early. About mid-way through the 3rd, Buffalo will cry uncle (spiritually) and we will "go Vanilla" and coast through the rest of the game. I see 31-10 in this one.

I'm not trying to be a dink here, but it's a very good team against a team that is playing very bad. That spells disaster. I hope Buffalo does figure things out (after Sunday), I think my fellow western NY NFL buddies deserve much better then they have been getting.

........ and NO, Losmen is NOT the answer.

Try feeling fearful of our receivers... Nope can't.
Try mustering up a shudder for our TE Casper the Ghost.
