O.K. We all know Solomon "crotchrot" Wilcots of Sirius NFL Radio's Afternoon Blitz is a jerk and a lousy reporter and broadcaster but this statement he made today is such a BOLD prediction that I think even Adam Schein his partner on the program could not believe his prediction and thought he was crazy.

He states that the Jets will be HORRID on the offensive line and not so good elsewhere that the only wins he sees from the team are at home against Buffalo and Miami and Kansas City - The Jets will finish 3-13 he goes on to state.

He predicts the Jets will not win a game on the road and that includes the game against the lowly Browns.

Now I hate the Jets but with Cotchery and Coles as WRs I think Chad should be able to have a couple decent games and with Washington and Jones the running game should be O.K. too

I think on defense the LBs are a good bunch with Vilma as the anchor.

I can't agree with that,I will put the Jets in 2nd in the division with a 10-6 or 9-7 at worst but 3-13 - worst team in the league? - He is an idiot.

I disagree. I think he is closwer to being correct. i think will be closer to worst han they will to a playoff club. But closer to worst is NOt worst.

Ideally, they'll slog along with some kind of mediocre record.......7-9 to 9-7. It can actually be a benefit to go into the tank for a year because of the superior draft positioning/schedule the following year, etc. The rut of the middle of the pack is harder to break out of.

I'd actually prefer them to go 3-13 and then pick Blair Thomas again...

Mangina is not capable of that without taking players he thinks the Pats are interested in....

BB should float a story about being interested in player A (who sux) and see if Mangina takes the bait...

There's bold, and there's stupid. This prediction is the latter.

They've played two AFC division champs from last year. Of course they're 0-2. I predicted 7-9 or 8-8 before the season and still feel good about that. They aren't even the worst team in their division, let alone worse than KC.
