If Brady is ever going to pass for more than 400 yards in 1 game in his career I think this is the week it could very well happen

Buffalo has a VERY poor secondary and defense in general,BB may very well surprise everyone and Maroney gets 200 yards and it becomes a ground game but I still think Brady has a legit shot at Peyton Manning type stats this week.

This looks to be the worst defense NE will face all this season,The ball will be flying long and often on sunday IMO.

You may see 4 or 5 passing TDs from TB as well

I hope he does it against the Steelers. That is the team I am looking forward to beating down the most. :rocker:

Well I would say the Pats are slightly better offensively than the Browns; so that being said, I think the biggest week could go against the Bengles on MNF.

Yeah, this week five years ago.

September 22nd, week three of the 2002 season, Brady threw for 410 yards against the Chiefs.

Must have missed that one in his career stats - O.K. well with that said,This may very well be the SECOND 400 Yard game for Brady ;)

Actually the Bills' defense is a worse run defense than a passing defense. Maroney and Morris could be the ones with big games this Sunday.

You may very well be right - Just when everyone thinks the Patriots are now a big passing team,BB probably goes to the ground and Maroney gets 200 yards in a game lasting 2 1/2 hours with mostly a ground game -Would not surprise me in the least

I was thinking this would be a good week for stat padding as well. I believe the patriots are favored by 16. I'm all about running the score now-a-days. Hard to throw for 400 yards though...when you spend 10 minutes moving the ball 50 yards in the 3rd/4th quarter to eat the clock. I'd like for Brady to stay ahead of Peyton statistically this season but certainly not a necessity.

I hope the Texans beat the Colts this week :)

Travis Henry got 136 yards and Willie Parker got 126 yards and a TD. The Bills will be gameplanning to stop Brady to Moss at all cost.

On a side note, our defense could be in for a really big day. Losman has been horrible. The guy has 251 passing yards, no TDs, and an INT over two games.

Yeah, NE will likely keep running at Buffalo. They also won't need to score a lot to win.

In order to put up the really big passing stats you either need to be in a shootout or intend to run up the score. This makes Indy and NYJ the most likely games, though Indy begs for you to run on them.

At home against NYJ seems like the perfect time for a 400+ yd game from Brady. A bad secondary combined with a team that NE will likely have no mercy on.

Yes Tommy is capable of passing for 400+ yards this week. The only reason why i don't see it happening is because I think we are going to see a lot of the Maroney/Morris combo. This will be a break out game for Maroney. Maroney 100+ yards rushing and a TD. Morris 70+ yards and a TD.

Why not both? 600yds+ of total offense...

I disagree. I'd rather not see Brady pull a Drew.

I have far more confidence in our defense to know they'll not be so awful as to force Brady to throw for 400 yards in a shoot-out or playing catch up ball against Buff.

I also have far more confidence in our offense to presume they'll jump out to an early lead by the first quarter, then proceed with a balanced attack to shorten the game as much as possible.

Keep in mind, this is only week 3, Brady is no longer the spring chicken (he admitted as much in preseason when he said he was and will remain more cautious on the number of his throws during camp and in practices), and stats like 400 yards passing are for the most part meaningless to the team. The guy has nothing to prove and I'd much prefer he's fresher with less wear and tear on his shoulder for Jan.

All I ask is that the Patriots find a way to score at least one more point than Buffalo does. Anything else is unimportant.

Yes.

Probably not, though.

Did anybody see that he was kind angry when he was running at the end of the game last week. It was cool to see. Some chargers said something to him and he gave it back big time. I think that he is ready to burst.

Yea, start him, run and get some points, bring in Cassel in the third, and Guet in the forth if the game is really really secure. Hey, sorry if it sounds too confident but I would like to see it thats all.

As much as I would like to see Brady have a big day, somehow I see this game as being somewhat close.. Buffalo has a lot to prove, and this team is due for an emotional letdown. We will win, but not by as much as many think they will.

OTOH I hope I am wrong, and they win big..

I agree! Buffalo, no matter what, plays us tough and plays us tough at home! It's like the Colts playing Tennessee last week. Everyone was thinking it was a slam dunk, but as always the Titans gave them a tough tough time. Also, don't forget about Schobel. Light gets owned by Schobel and he has sacked Brady more than any player at this point.

I think we will win, but don't look for a blowout and don't look for great Brady stats in this one.
