Talk about reporter getting desperate ..some sample questions

http://www.patriots.com/mediacenter/index.cfm?ac=videonewsdetail&pid=27737&pcid=82&rss=1

Q: Do you have any reaction to the commissioner's request for additional video tapes?

BB: No, I think that's a fair question and I'm sure there are other questions out there as well. I've made my comments on that and, as Mr. Kraft said last night, we'll handle it as an internal matter, so I'll just leave it at that.

Q: Why do you feel like you don't have any obligation to offer some kind of explanation?

BB: Well, it's been done. We're moving on. I think what we have to do is move on.

Q: It hasn't been done. You haven't actually said anything about it.

BB: We're moving on. Right now we're moving on to Buffalo. That's what is important to this football team, getting ready for the Buffalo Bills. They're a division team and it's a big game coming up. So we'll put the San Diego game behind us and move forward.

Q: So you're not going to say anything at all?

BB: What I'm going to do is I'm going to work as hard as I can to get our team ready to play Buffalo. That comes with a couple of days of preparation here on Monday and Tuesday. When the players come in on Wednesday, it will be putting it all together out there on the field and try to make sure that we can competitively be at our best on Sunday. That's what I'm going to put my time and energy into and that's what I expect the other coaches and players to do as well.
that one made me laugh..whoever asked this should know better if he/she thinks that BB turned over to a fuzzy open media friendly guy because of one big win.

These reporters are seiously mentally deficient if they think Belichick is ever going to give them anything they want. Just take your defeat like a man, media!

This is the crux of this issue, BB wants to talk football, and the press wants to flame.. while it is newsworthy, BB is all about the product on the field. If he were to start talking about this he could not talk football.

Remember warm and fuzzy Pete Carroll, he was a darling of the press and gave out lots of info, but in the end this approach did not work either, and he was bashed all over the place. The press is what it is, a bunch of folks trying to make money off of bad news.

The press knows what to expect from BB, but they want him to change to their perception of what he should be.. he will not conform, that deserves a lot of respect in my eyes. Particularly in a media driven world that loves this stuff.

Q: BILL PLEASE TELL HOW MANY TAPES YOU INTEND ON GIVING THEM!

BB: It doesnt matter. We're moving onto Buffalo.

funny thing is...this is a PRIME oppertunity to pick him brain about football. He'd be more than willing to break down stuff just to stop hearing questions about the tapes. Remember all you football reporters...you're supposed to writing about the game.
