Talk about a no-brainer win, even Bellicheat wouldn't videotape Bills defense to win this one ... what's to videotape, they're a bunch of no-names.

The line is Pats by 15. Should be a lot more .... I say Pats by 35.

it will be a lot closer game than you think. Bills/pats is usually close except for those 31-0 games and division games are usually a lot closer.
iam sure matt light is having dreams of blocking schobel.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

Gosh! I am a bit shocked at the arrogant title "...whip Bills..." that assumes that the win is guaranteed and that all that is now required is to beat the 'experts' Vegas line.

Maybe we should give seriousness to the Pats coaches and players when they talk about how they respect the opponents. Any team can beat any great looking team. What we did last week has no bearing on the current week.

So, although I am rooting for the Pats to win and would like them to win dominantly, I will refrain from insulting other teams.

but these bills are even a lot worse than the other bills teams of the post-kelly era. hard as that is to imagine. their offense has scored a measly 1 TD in 2 games, and only 10 points overall!!! the team get to 17 points total because of a punt return. 2007 bills = 2006 raiders, fighting it out for worst offense ever. and oh, did i mention the defense? hard to know since there's no one there of note!

I would agree, but I think BB will hold back on issuing a severe beating if, for no other reason, the Bills have done nothing to pi$$ him off.

if you dont think brady and the boys are having a good laugh watching bills tape, you are seriously dilusional. that is if they're not bored to tears watching the worst team in the league

doesnt mean they cant play, patriots were a bunch of no namers 7 yrs ago - there is schobel , anyway.
Main thing ..its a division game. it will be close...lets not get carried away by 38 pt wins. We all expected to beat miami last yr, and got shut out.
Iam not saying that its going to be like that but every week is different. Sometimes a team which is an easy pick for one team is difficult for the other regardless of the record and stats. I for one wouldnt mind a tough grinding win so we can get back to earth and have some perspective.
Dont get me wrong, our offense is good but its 2 weeks....More important to win than win by 38-14.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

The final score will be 38-14.. need consistency in all three phases of the game.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

I live in western NY, I know the Bills quite thoroughly (due to the exclusive news coverage here), and I can tell you. THIS team is struggling badly. The entire region has become so disenfranchised that I worry about it's future here.

They are so depleted already, that I'd be surprised if they are within 20 points. I believe that Brady will and should be pulled by perhaps the start of the 4th.

That said, we need to be singularly focused on EVERY game this year. Prepare to play as if it were the Colts out there.

let's beat them all the way to toronto. give their owner what he wants!!

they thought they were all that w/ our cast offs bledsoe and milloy. last year their rookie whitner implied refs fixed game 1. and even if that weren't the case, we beat them because we can. pats by at least 20, and thats just the half-time differential!! sticking to my +35 for the game.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

These are the games that scare me. The ones we "should win handily" coming right after an emotional game on National TV (can you say "Jets game at Home after Colts on Monday night in 2006?"). I'm confident that BB and his coaches will have the team ready, but let's not go crazy.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

Unfortunately I co-exist with a bunch of Bills fans but even they are fast losing hope for even a 5 win season. Most feel as though they'll be lucky to win 3 games.

Injuries are mounting for them and an already very young and inexperienced team is now very young and inexperienced and lacking talent. The fans and media are criticising the QB for not progressing any, the QB is questioning the OC for not opening up the gameplan and the HC is calling out the QB for missing easy completions. It's quickly becoming a mess.

Not sure that the Bills will be moving to Toronto anytime soon but I'll be shocked if this game isn't dominated by the Patriots.

My prediction: Pats 38 Bills 13

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

Patriots will blow them out, but not by 35. I can see Buffalo scoring late and make it reasonable at the end. I can see 28-13 or something like that.

ps- Not for nothing, but why does Buffalo have a football team? I've been to Buffalo and it is the most depressing city on Earth. Outside of the Anchor Bar, the city has no redeeming values and looks like a depressed town that would make Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp write a song about. The NFL needs to put them out of their misery and let them move. I hate the fact that the Patriots revenue sharing is helping keep this clown franchise afloat.

they were formed back in the day when manufacturing mattered in america. and cities like buffalo had a reason to exist. neither of those things are true any more

One point
will satisfy me.

If these aren't classic conditions for a let-down game
... what are?

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

Buffalo has a patchwork secondary - Sunday will be F-U-N, FUN!

Yeah, a lil worried about Schobel though. Kyle Brady to the rescue!

I will be at a bar with a bunch of Bills fans so I hope we win by A LOT....and if those fans are hostile then I hope we run up the score ;)

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

There are rarily blowout games from the Patriots in divisional matchups but I think they will win comfortably..

Patriots 28 - Bills 10

I think Moss has an off game but Welker does the damage in the middle of that D

Congrats on that pathetic post. First, you start out with the classic city smack. I'm so better than you because I live in a "better" city. Newsflash Einstein. You're a d bag no matter where you live. Odds are, I'm probably went to a better school and make money then you. I love Buffalo and it is my home. Congrats on a being a nobody in a bigger city. You're special. :rocker:

Second, you in truly classic fashion, trash the Bills. Obviously, this team is struggling right now. But seriously, you root for a franchise, that before the last 10 years, was barely alive. I remember a lot of 1/4 filled stadiums when your team was wearing those pretty pink jerseys. Matter of fact, I don't ever recall meeting a Pats fan during the days of Eugene Chung and Steve Grogan with a neck brace. Most of those so-called "diehard" Pats fans were just whiny Sox fans crying about the Yanks. But a little luck (and maybe some well placed video taping  ), you're the shining example of a NFL team. I think you should remember a time when the Pats couldn't find a home before you trash the Bills.

Lastly, I always have respected the Pats. They always were a first class organization. Granted it took Bledsoe almost dying to put Brady in, but they always seemed to get the job done. Now, they have just people the Yankees of football (several thousand people were hurt jumping of the Sox bandwagon). You got your Giambi ( Harrison) and your Arod (Moss - he quits on teams). You even added a head stomper and a cheating coach to go into the mix. So while I still have a great deal of respect for guys like Brady and Seymour, congrats on tainting an excellence run of dominance.

P.S. I apologize to the decent Pats' fans but his post was just trash and needed to be responded to.

Re: How Many Points Will We Whip Bills By?

My final score will be 45-7 Pats.
