As happy and excited as we were to win our Super Bowl, I don't think Jim would have taken any satisfaction in winning if he felt I was breaking the rules to do it. I'm glad I work for an owner who feels that way and not only doesn't put that type of pressure on us to "win at all costs," but would be very upset if we knowingly violated any NFL rules. So I think it does matter how you win and I hope we, as a league, continue to send that message to young players and coaches who are watching us."

Has Dungy ever commented on his GM's statements about "breaking (Flutie's) leg? You know since they want to send good messages to youngsters and all.

Pretty loaded comments. I don't particularly care for what he is insinuating about how Kraft runs his team. And to be completely honest, I think with all the shenanigans Polian has pulled the last few years Dungy should be careful what rocks he's throwing in which glass houses.

But ultimately, he's right. How you win is important.

that doesn't mean this whole thing hasn't been MASSIVELY overblown. Nobody still, over a week into this, has been able to explain what the Pats were doing or what the advantage was if any. Dungy has every right to be proud of the way he coaches, but I don't think he has the right to judge Belichick or Kraft without all the facts.

Although Dungy is entitled to his opinion, it makes him seem somewhat of a hypocrite for complaining that the media is focusing on spygate and then he himself commenting on it in his blog. Also, why does Dungy always have to point out that the way he does things is better than the way anyone else does things? He is no better than anyone else in the league, no matter how much he says he is.

Also, who says Robert Kraft tells BB to "win at all costs." According to him, it seems that Irsay is the only owner with a moral compass. I'm pretty sure Robert Kraft stated that he was disgusted by the actions.

Dungy needs to move on and stop complaining. Its over. The penalty has been paid. I'm looking foward to week 9 so we can beat Dungy fair and square.

I don't think Dungy is in any place to discuss what goes on behind the scenes with Belichick and Kraft, and a backhanded insult toward Kraft is also shortsighted.

And I know this is disregarded by Colts fans, but whining to the Competition Committee is also a pretty lousy way to get success in this league.

Or the Colts GM who repeated profanity laiden tirades, and wishing injuries on other players (case Flutie) is quite common occurence weekly.

Yea some pretty obvious blows to the pats and Mr. Kraft there. Of course a colts troll would say his thoughts were "fair", lol. My goodness Tony, just come out and say what you trully feel, you worthless pile of scum. Do you realize if you don't delete that, shut your mouth and play, do you realize how bad the pats are going to stomp over that illusion of a defense you have?

Honest to goodness for all the people that don't want us to win you would think they do with the amount of motivation they supply this team with. It's ridiculous.

I'm glad that I root for a team who's focus is to win football games not to try to make everyone thinks he's a good guy jumping on his moral high ground all day. Get over yourself Dungy, pump in some noise, raise the heat, just dont cheat?

Tony is pretty lazy if he isn't doing all the advance scouting that many teams are doing. I suggest he spend more time worrying about his family than what Kraft is doing.

And all in all, it's just his opinion. No more than that. Apparently Dungy handily forgot that the Colts pretty much sucked before he got there. Indianapolis wasn't exactly a 'model' franchise under Jim Irsay's dad. I can remember when the Colts were still in the division, that splitting the season games with them was considered a disappointment during the '90s, except for the two years under MacPherson.

I have always respected Dungy...but this is just stupid. Both Goodell and Kraft said he had no knowledge of what was going on, so why take shots at Kraft? Thanks for the bulletin board material for when we come to the RUGay Dome...I can guarantee Rodney has it posted and everyone knows about it

He does realized that his GM willfully abused his position on the comp committee to have specific rules enforced because it helped his team? Now, before Colt fans go balistic, tell me, which game was more consistently called with regard to the secondary penalties the 2003 AFFCG or the 2006 AFFCG?

So filming signals is worth Dungy taking thinly veiled shots at another coach and owner, but intentionally manipulating the entire league for the betterment of your team is fine?
