Roger Goodell should be forced to resign as NFL Commissioner. Now if you don't think I'm being serious or have let my anger distort my thinking, here are the reason that I think this man should be forced to resign.

1. Here is his bio http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Goodell. Asyou can see he is from Bronxville NY and his only team experience was with, you guess ed it, the NY Jets. He should of refused himself from this BB mater as ther is an appearance of a conflict of interest. There may be more than just an appearance as a former Jets employee and Jets homeboy.

2. His office has repeatedly leaked information to the media regarding the BB incident. He is the one who preached holding everyone in the NFL to high standards, yet he can't or doesn't want to hold his staff to high standards of integrity.

He should impose stiff penalties against against any NFL personnel or people who are authorized to attend NFL private meetings and then leak infromattion to the press. The NFL was the only one in pocession of the the Jests game tape, yet it was playaed on teh Fox NFL show today.

3. He seems to be embarking on a witch hunt to defame the Patriots and Bill Belichick. He is doing this on the eve of a very important game and is allowing the leaking of information to come out on the eve of a very important game.

If this is not enough to force him to resign then I don't know what is.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

He's married to a FOX employee.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

I'm with you, Patsnutme.:rocker:

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

Of course he should, he's taken an illegally placed camera and made a complete clusterf*ck out of it.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

We Pats fans feel that way, but he is being empowered by other teams and media.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

some one should make a petition about treating Patriots fairly or something like that (you know one of those online petitions) and let people sign it!

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

Well keeping my emotions aside, I want to see how everything plays out over the next few weeks. Although I would like to vote yes right, I think we should just wait and see how this whole thing ends up. Let's not be like everyone who is against us and assume things without complete knowledge. We shall see, we shall see

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

I think the poll is a little biased....lol

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

I'd like to know how Kraft would vote.

I hope this thread was a joke

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

As pissed as I am about the whole scenario, and as much as I think Goodell really should leave everything alone at this point, I can't ask him to resign. This topic is outlandish and homer-ish, and I personally think it isn't one that moderators should be broaching.

The only joke in this thread is you and Polian.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

Did you even read the thread? Any bias appears to be on the part Goodell.

How can the poll be biased when there is an option to vote NO?

Actually I would like to know where the New England media is in pointing out these conflicts. I guess they don't want to bite the hand that feeds them.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

Oops,. I hit the wrong button. How do I change my vote?
RESIGN NOW.....

Personally I don't give a crap what you think. If you have a problem with my conduct as a mod, sent a note to the admin and ask him to force me to resign.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

Why would the thread be a joke when the guy is bordering on alienating on of the biggest markets in the league plus making the league itself a laughing stock ?

Me, I'm gonna see how this plays out. I may join Saban and head off to the college ranks.

Re: Roger Goodell Shouldbe forced ro resign

For the record....Krafty was the main reason Goodell got the job....if he had done an unfair, light sentence, the other owners would be all over it.

BB got what he deserved. Why would you do it right out in the open like that after a warning?

again, I hope this thread was a joke.

The blame is always on someone else here.
