Sox vs. Pats

If I had tickets in had to go to fenway , behind the red sox dugout and would not have to pay anything... I would still fork out 250.00 a ticket and all other expenses to go see the Pats and Chargers.. Screw the Sox, its football season...

....
there's a possibility my girlfriend is getting her hands on Sox tickets. ....

Do I go to the Sox game, or watch the Pats on TV?

Do what your girl wants.
Be sure to let her know that what YOU want to do
is whatever SHE wants to do.
Pleasing her is all that matters to you.

Practice the above
... and benefit for the rest of your life.

Sox and Yankees start at 8:00 tomorrow.

Pats and Chargers at 8:30.

Normally this would be a no brainer for me, but there's a possibility my girlfriend is getting her hands on Sox tickets. And it's Clemens vs. Schilling, not to mention a pretty important game.

Do I go to the Sox game, or watch the Pats on TV?

Still a no-brainer: Watch the Pats on television. Even on television, it's a much more important event to be there for in the moment. The baseball team already is a shoe-in for the division; Clemens vs. Desperatehousewifeschilling might've been significant 10 years ago, not now. Sell the baseball tickets and take your girlfriend away for the weekend two weeks from now.

Definitely go to the Sox game, anytime you have a chance to see a big game like that live you gotta do it.

For everyone at home however, its a Pats night, you only get 16 games and this is a huge one, we can always watch Schilling dominate the Yanks sometime later (like maybe October).

It depends where your heart is. Are you more of a Patriots fan than a Red Sox fan or vice versa. Don't give me the mothers "I love them both equally" stuff, we all know that is not true.

Pearls of wisdom.

I will DVR the Sox game or have it PIP.

I stayed up to watch the 8th inning shocker and watched Beckett own them during yesterday's game. I'll probably watch bits and pieces during the commercial breaks/halftime. I mean, it's Schilling vs CLEMENS.. come on people, it's a hard choice.

Patriots: 1a
Sox: 1b

Both stadiums will be electric and either one is a memory you'll have the rest of your life. What you may get at Fenway is, Clemons last game pitched at Fenway, and maybe his career. Might even be Schillings last game pitched at Fenway. A Sox win is a dagger in the Yankees division streak and to the most hated team by New England fans, bar none. Going with the Patriots, you'll going to get a crowd that is whipped into a frenzy equal to Fenway (which is quite amazing). Could be one of the best games of the football season. As much as I try to make a case for the Patriots, the first part of this post trumps it, and that is saying alot, as I will peek at the Sox score inbetween breaks in the Patriots game. Go Sox.

Nut, it is true, I do love them both equally. I will watch more of the Patriots game because it's a once a week thing, but even those who HATE baseball understand that Sox-Yanks in September is compelling. The Sox will be on the small picture-in-picture box so I don't have to listen the horrible ESPN guys calling the game, so the Pats get the big sceen!
