Thomas's biggest impact could come in slowing down Gates. Thomas's former defensive coordinator in Baltimore, Rex Ryan, said the Ravens used Thomas to cover premier tight ends. "He covered Tony Gonzalez one on one," said Ryan. "[Thomas] might be able to cover better than any [defensive back]. He's an unusual guy."

I'm friggin aroused just thinking about the possibility of Thomas shutting down Gates.

The idea of AD on gates was brought up in one BB's PC's
BB said the thing about Gates is trying to find him because
they hide him pretty well. ????

How do you hide a 6'4 - 260 lbs TE?

Simple. You move him around. When you line up the time you have to recognize can be pretty small. If Gates is lined up wide, what should Adalius do?

Considering the Chargers WR's they could put a safety on him, too.

umm, jam him at the line and cover him?

Heheh, good luck with that. I dare Adalius to try it. The minute he does SD is bringing LT up the gut or off tackle.

AD is a fast, big physical freak - look out Chargers jock sniffer!

Who's WR's are worse. The Patriots last year or the Chargers this year?

chargers this year its almost unfair to rivers how bad there wr's suck

Norv Turner = sucks as a HC

Really.

I'll be in the 100 section taking pictures of LT trying to get past that blue line on the TV.

So many arrogant trolls turned back in the past. Bolts, you're just another link in the chain of disappointed posters.

Belichick won't be defeated at the line of scrimmage. Silly you. Rivers will have to make plays. Must make you feel a little worried, eh?
:)

Bolts only put up 21 points at home last year and this year they are minus Eric Parker who was their best receiver.

Meanwhile the Pats add AD and Seau, Colvin and Vrabel are playing at their natural positions, and Wilson is back at FS.

Also AD held Gates to 4 catches for 41 yards last year, not exactly HOF numbers.

Do you think you defeated us at the line of scrimmage last game? If so, how so?

It going to be tough for SD to win with only 2 good skill players.
