Things that still bug me

Re: Things that still bug me.

Oh boy! Once again, the pot calling the kettle black. Two words: Shawn Merriman. How many games did the Bolts have an unfair competitive advantage due to the superhuman strength and athleticism of a steroid-using phenom? Hmmm ... 4 games ... is that fair? The Chargers probably won several close games due to a Merriman sack ... so how many draft picks should the Chargers lose ?!?! After all, hardly any of the other NFL players use this stuff, right? I say the Chargers got off VERY easy with this one, no? Are the Bolts fans in denial? Dunno ... but I'm guessing this is why you have no problem with the cheating thing. Oh yeah, how's Merriman's lawsuit going against that "supplement" company?? Oh, BTW ... I'm not condoning the behavior of Belichick, but other former coaches and camera men have, indeed, stated that other teams DO do this (yes, I said do do) ...

I actually agree with this post to a degree, but first off, Merriman is not the only NFL player to have been caught taking a banned substance, past or present, even HGH will get you suspeneded these days, just ask Harrison about that. IMO, the NFL is just making an example of Bilichick and the patriots because they finnally caught someone. Lip readers, cameras, mindreaders, and whatever else are used by every team to try and steal a signal or play call, it happens in almost every sport. Very reason coaches hold up their clipboards in front of their face during the game. Somebody from the other team is watching your every move.

Yea, ok. So you're ignoring the fact that we went 3-1 sans Merriman. Fair enough.

All I'll say about Merriman is that he tested positive ONE time. Players get tested all year. If you think he tested positve 1 and ONLY one time because, eh... Maybe his dosage was off? I'm not gonna argue with you about that. That is, unless you're prepared to argue this:

Good luck!

Re: Things that still bug me.

BoltsFan and co, let me ask you this: did the Chargers lose to the Pats and not advance to the AFCCG last year because of potential video taping during the game? (without making assumptions of my age, please ... the age response has an unofficial limit of 2 uses during this thread)

Wow... you really make a point here  ... on another note, How about dem pats..... Now that taking pictures of the opposing team signals has been eliminated..... how does that affect the game day strategy for the pats ?... Dammm... we have to actually think now. What will the Chargers do next.

Re: Things that still bug me.

... yet the Bolts fans make age queries? My best guess is that we will no longer be hearing from you guys come Sunday night after the game

Au contraire, I seriously doubt it ... I am impressed by the Franglish, though

Lusdawg... Every time time I visit an opposing team's MB, this very question is always posted. I will be here one way or another after the game on Sunday, I stick by my team win or lose.... I'm sure you do to..

Re: Things that still bug me.

Well, may it be a great game, then (with the Pats winning, of course) ... we'll see you here after the game

Yes it was franglish. I'm impressed you understood that. :)

EDIT: I thought au contraire might be lost on the fan base. LOL!
