Re: Cjohnson trying to score...

Sorry bout that..

No, sorry ......... I did not mean it that way. :(

I meant in another thread (on another topic about player responses), it was part of a response I made.

You were fine. this is the 1st CJ dedicated thread (and it deserves one) :rocker:

Re: Cjohnson trying to score...

Agreed. And thanks.
I've changed my opinion of him after reading this article.
I always thought he was a big show boat...and he still is but after
this I can't help but feel gratitude toward him.

Chad is great for the NFL. A great player with an attitude that just makes him fun to watch. Football is supposed to be fun. Not some stage to play out yet another morality tale, like Coach Martin Luther King Jr. obviously thinks.

Re: Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson on the Patriots [merged]

He's the smartest player from a team on our schedule. !!!

Re: Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson on the Patriots [merged]

bumped back to page one....

Re: Chad ?Ocho Cinco? Johnson on the Patriots

rats! now i have to like him a bit!

I have to say, if you load me up with sodium pentathol, I'd admit I've always liked him. If he were on the Pats, he would be the freakin' man. You wouldn't be able to turn around at Gillette without running into someone wearling a "Johnson 85" shirt.

Compare what he said with what Dungy said, Dungy is such a moron. Totally jealousy.

Chad Johnson has always been a guy who seems like he is telling an inside joke. He plays his heart out and wants to win bad and at the same time tries to have fun with it without belittling the opponents. Yeah, sometimes he might take things a bit too far but never in a mean spirited way.

I am really glad he made the comments he did. To me it means I read him right before and it has raised my already significant respect for him even higher.

As for Tony Dungy.....he didn't even have to nutsack to stick with his initial comments....he tried to back off of it a bit.

I hope, and expect, Bellechick to remember all of the slights from some of his coaching brethren and will be looking forward to seeing how he meets them, if at all, after a game. I think the NFL ought to put the post game between Bellichick and Mangina on pay-per-view.

Wow. Color me impressed. One of the best receivers in the league...why doesn't the freeaking media play more of these clips???

The media is completely biased.

Today on SIRIUS NFL Radio, hosts Adam Schein and Jim Miller spoke with Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson about the Patriots in the wake of the controversy over the illegal use of sideline video equipment in last week’s game against the Jets. “I don’t care whether [the Patriots] filmed it or not. They would still [...]

Thus begs the question some have been asking, WTF do it anyway??? If it isn't helping, if there is no purpose, why do it? Please stop trying to justify these actions. There is no place for it. No point. If NE is THAT good, WHY DO IT??? BB is an idiot for doing it. Even if 31 other teams are BLATENTLY doing it, why not turn up your collective noses and say, "we're going to beat the hell out of you anyway, because we're the Patriots"???

There happens to be a new article up right now on Foxsports by FootballOutsiders' writer Michael David Smith about why Chad Johnson should be more celebrated.

He is the realized ideal of the "diva wide receiver" trope: he walks the line perfectly, showing younger players the very model of how you can be flashy, ****y, entertaining and talk trash, and yet do it in a way that keeps the game fun.

ADVANCED SCOUTING. It's not that f'ing complicated. Record things that the game tape doesn't show you to get more information to study for when you meet again. Study human tendencies, subtle tells etc... STEALING DEFENSIVE SIGNALS IS DONE BY EVERYONE BUT NOT BY CAMERA! The pats probably still steal signals, not with camera though. The camera was never to steal signs. NEVER.

Then why was it pointed at the defensive coaches?? Your team cheated, face it.

Wow, did you read my post? You dont only use advanced scouting on players. It was pointed at the coaches to be studied at a later date for the next time they should meet. What would be studied is human tendency, subconscience tells etc.. The tape would be analyzed to pick up on the jets coaches tendencies not their friggin defensive signals which will be different the next time they play.

Even the jets coaches aren't morons. They aren't sitting there with a small list of the same signals, only sending one out, thinking no one is watching and never changing them.

Just like in poker you can pick up on human tells about what cards a player is holding, it's possible to study the coaches (humans) and pick up on subtle tells about what kind of play they may be calling and in what situation etc...

Try to open your mind a bit and get over your bitternes/hatred/jealousy for the pats. Thanks

1 thing many people mistake CJ for is that hes stupid, not a hard worker and not mature. all are wrong. he works extremely hard, hes smart and hes mature..he knows when to joke and when not to. i've always liked him and its great to see 1 of the bright spots in NFL who enjoys playing the game and has fun, support us

Yea I love him, but the next time he hypes something up and then lets us all down with something like that jacket last week, I'm gonna have to kick his arse!
