Gang, what a week huh? From the accusations to the investigation to the statement from BB to the reaction and aftermath from the league and fans to the penalty from Goodell to the second statement from BB.

Kinda tiring huh.

Even though this thing will subside, there will always be a stain on our team's accomplishments, warranted or not.

It is great to know however there are fellow fans out there that, like me, are planted good and firm on the wagon the the New Patriots organization.

Can't wait til Sunday....and looking forward to the rest of the season and beyond....:)

Hey, the game on Sunday wasn't that bad either, huh. I hear we got this kid named Moss that sounds pretty good too. :D

The extra leg-room on the wagon actually feels kinda nice.

It's the easiest thing in the world to be a fan of a great team when times are good. This has been an eye-opening week on many levels.

Hopefully, the worst is over. Onward!

It's been a touch week for me because of how much the media has distorted the situation and how the average football fan does not dig deeper into the situation. I am shocked at how they have lied and attacked Bill. They treated him like he was O.J. Simpson. He is a great coach who made a mistake. End of story.

But no, they have to call him a "Cheater" and apply it to all past Patriot accomplishments without any evidence. They even tried to smear Tom as an accomplice.

I have learned a valuable lesson this week. I am a Pats fan and the team and organization comes first. ESPN, NFLN, SI and all the rest are treacherous outsiders. I am no longer worried about being overly objective with the team. I side with the Pats first.

My husband works for a law firm and one of the partners asked him if he (the partner) could call me up and razz me a little this week. My husband looked at him and said, "Do you want to get your ass chewed up and spit out? Because that's what would happen."

I was definitely low on sense of humor this week.

Hopefully this big wet blanket that's been thrown on me will dry up by sunday night!

I don't know why, and I can't explain it in any formal way but:

I feel like MORE of a Patriots fan today than I did a week ago. I've defended my team from everyone. Surprising to see alot of Pats haters around the Boston area, then again my school has students from many different states.

But damn, let me tell you something, it feels GOOD to be a Patriots fan right now.

This week may have stunk more than a skunk in a woodchipper, but from what I hear, this has only energized the team. They are more focussed than ever and will be looking for blood.
