Conclusions

The Patriots didn’t do perform significantly better offensively in the second half of games than in the first. The theory that the Patriots gained advantage by analyzing signal tape over halftime just doesn’t hold water statistically.

This is especially true when compared with the offensive output of the Patriots’ opponents in the second half. These opponents more than DOUBLED their total scoring in the second half of the game versus the first.

Someone may want to double check my math because I’ve been known to miscalculate.

Awesome analysis!
Great post!

Now we should take this and shove it down every media hack out there lynching us.

good stuff. Thanks for posting.

I saw this post on another forum as proof that they were making adjustments at halftime. So basically, be careful who you share this with. Statistics don't help when revealed to idiots.

I'm going to use that scoring info on another message board, thanks.

Excellent post!
Great work!

I can't reiterate what a great post this is.

Cold Hard Football Facts needs to take my analysis here and run with it. :D

please, can we sticky this for a few days?

I'm happy that someone put that BS crybaby Myth to rest.
If one subtract a couple games where we were heavilly favored then we even perform worse (Jacksonville and NYJ games).
