If there was any doubt as to whether this was BB's last season or not, I'm pretty sure we can all be confident that he's going to try his best to shut everyone up and "win without cheating."

Gotta keep looking at that silver lining. :)

Well, it'd certainly be disconcerting if we suddenly sucked, wouldn't it?

I think the Pats are far to talented to suddenly suck, but when it comes to the playoffs everyone is talented or they wouldn't be there. I would say that would be where the biggest advantage would be. Still you have to wonder if the Pats are as good as the fans here think they are, why cheat????

Don't you think that if this gave the Patriots such an advantage that they would have been able to produce one or two more first downs with under 4 to play in the 4th in the AFCCG against the Colts last year. That's all they would have needed to wind down the clock and move on to the Super Bowl. Think about that.

Seriously. Where were you then wit your magic camera, Estrella???!! WHERE WERE YOU THEN!!!???

Sometimes what you got is just not good enough.

True, Caldwell, Brown, Watson and Evans were certainly not enough to pull this game out. Also, the talent left on defense after injuries and illness apparently wasn't good enough either. But I'd say that if this signal garbage was as strong of an advantage as feelmypain offers then we would have determined defensive alignment or number/timing of colt blitzers enough times to gain those needed extra firsts near the end.

Funny how the Pats lose to one of the Teams that complained the hardest about the Pats cheating, maybe whatever the Colts did in the second half wasn't what BB was expecting them to do, who knows. But the Pats seemed to have a real problem scoring in the second half of that game last year against one of the worst defenses in the league. At some point you have to wonder if the Pats did nothing wrong why were they fined? I don't think the league just had an agenda,

Or, the colts stole our signals which explains their comeback...must be. Fine them now.

Essentially no one sees the Broncos SBs as tainted. They violated the salary cap to keep players for that SB run. Essentially no one will see the Pats dynasty as tainted once the current envy dies out.

Says the Pat fan!!!

No wondering. By the letter of the law and the technical terms of the rules set forth, yes they were wrong. What I am saying is that if this act, that no one knows how often the pats practiced despite overwhelming speculation, was not as much of an advantage as you speculated. If it was, then one would think that they would have been able to manufacture one or two more first downs in their next to last offensive possession to secure the win.

A Dolphins fans calling the Patriots cheaters after last season is either a troll or one of the stupidest people in the history or mankind. In your case, perhaps it's both.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a Pat fan.

Dude this is f*cking silly.

Here's the bottom line:

Three times this decade, everybody on this board has been happy like a pig rolling around in sh*t, while guys like "FeelthePain" and Steelers, Chargers, and Jets fans were thinking about next year and how much they hate the Pats. Nobody takes any of that away, no matter what any sportswriter says. Who gives a damn about the "legacy" anyway. I just want another happy February.

Unless the Colts were aware of what the Pats were doing and took appropriate action. I'll pose the question yet again, if the Pats are so good, why cheat??

I personally think that Belichick either a)thought that he had found in a loophole in the verbiage of the rules or b) will pursue every advantage he can especially when he knows that the rest of the league is doing it as well.

And if the Colts knew and took the appropriate action then wouldn't the scoring in the two halves be reversed. The Pats offense rolled in the first half putting up 21 points and then seemed to slow in the second half. It is possible, under your theory that the Colts suddenly realized what was going on and changed their signals. However, if the Pats were using this footage in-game (which it has been stated by the commissioner that in the Jet game, and therefore probably all others that they were not) then wouldn't the Pats hang around somewhat in neutral in the first half and then explode in the second after deciphering the defensive signals?
