Here is a JETS employee on the Jets sidelines whose clearly isn't following the rules that were set by Goodell, yet no one is saying boo about it.

The Guy has Jets Credentials, but not the Video Vest that all the others have and the camera isn't enclosed the way Goodell's memo states. And, since he's a Jets employee, he's not part of the local camera crew.

I'd love it if this backfired in Mangini's face if the rule says no video taping equipment of any sort...

This is very true, why hasn't this been addressed by anyone of the NFL "powers that be"? Answer: because the Jets are not slated as one of the dominant teams that has been successful for years and they do not have a coach that people have been waiting to pile on. It's all political. But if the the rule is going to be enforced indiscriminately then the league needs to address the fact that this Jets guy is also in violation.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

Maybe Bill has addressed it to the commish...I mean I can't imagine they haven't looked into it.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

Evidence That Jets Cheated!!!! Quick, to the presses!

I sent a letter to the PATS front office yesterday with this same picture. Hopefully they know about this and we are in for a big surprise!

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

Guys, we have to make as much of this as possible, the Jesters, Womangini and the whole NY press have done as much as possible - lets turn this round.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

LOL, and because he's a JETS employee he so ****ing stupid he doesn't even know where to point the camera.

Imagine the locker room conversation:

......

Wilber: Duh, here coach Eric {hands over tape}

Mangina: {views tape} Wilber, you friggen ******, How many times do I gotta tell you ------------ I said the PATRIOTS coaches.

Wilber: Doh, I'm sorry coach Eric, i do it better next time.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

I emailed Bill Simmons on this asking him for his opinion. I will be interested as to what it is...

If this can somehow hit the mainstream football media before tomorrow, it could have a great impact. You may come out of this an internet hero, DB.

Well.. if anything DOES happen, its not me who should get the credit. Its Ursa because he was the one who posted the picture originally.

Though, If I did get some credit, I'd asked you all to hold the applause and just send MONEY. :D

How do we get it out...

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

In the original thread there is a link to coldhardfootballfacts.com, which also debunked the photo. They reported that a Patriots beatwriter had written in and he identified them as well-known NY media crew.

R

update: I just went there, and they have taken the picture down entirely.

I just emailed the hype to Florio -- see if he runs with it, truth or not.

Did you send this to Tomase or Reiss? I know they monitor this board, but the title of this thread may not grab their attention. An e-mail may do the trick.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

Da Bruinz, have you tried contacting WEEI about this? I'm sure they'd be interested in it.

Hey I brought it up I think first check the sticky on the main page.

You guys should jump on this, question is who is he.

I have asked over at JI and a couple of posters work on the sidelines, and claim they have never seen him before.
One guy claimed he works for NFL films, it was also brought up that this guy looks alot like Matt Scleri, or whatever his name is that was the alledged Pats Photographer.

Whoever it is seems to be in violation of the rules.

Unless I am mistaken, any one shooting video on the sidelines is supposed to have a bright orange vest on... The guy in the picture was identified as a JETS EMPLOYEE, not a NY MEDIA EMPLOYEE.

Re: URSA's PICTURE... What it showed

If you look closely at the guy's left leg and at the bottom of the kicker's warmup net, this photo looks like it's been trough photoshop.

Can someone to change it to something that brings more people in. Like:

DEBUNKED PHOTO: what else do it show?

Probably because photos don't usually come with big circles around where you're supposed to look.
