I would openly urge Mr. Kraft to reject any compromise over the coming CBA and usher in the non-salary cap NFL, thereby ruining many teams so eager to defame his franchise's accomplishments over an obviously petty and trivial incident.

Not sure if I agree just yet, but I like your style!

Yeah, let's destroy the NFL to spite our own face. Even if Belichick is told to forfeit the Jets game and the rest of the season, it's still a business, and I'll bet Kraft loves the salary cap.

As will I, and I'd be perfectly fine to see the league without a salary cap. I hope a lot of fans around the league realize this actually could happen and if the league does go without a salary cap teams Like NE, and Dallas will remain among the super powers of the league for years.

Why would Kraft like the salary cap? It forces him to share his money with lessor teams so they can survive. Without a salary cap he could pocket all that money and simply focus his money on making the Patriots stronger....

Like a child who threatens to tell the authorities that his/her parent "molestered" the child because the child doesn't want to deal with the fact that they aren't in charge and that actions have consequences? Belichick conducts himself as an immature child, and he should finally stop it and grow up. I wouldn't encourage him to continue on.

Without a salary cap, we'd still have McGinnest, Milloy, Law, Vinatieri, and every other fan favorite cash cow we could want. Their spots on the roster would have only displaced the likes of Chad Brown and Je Rod Cherry.

Are you kidding me? Removal of the cap would instantly allow the Pats to sit back for a dozen or more years of easy winning and easy money like the 49ers of the 80's.

Some fans want to burn down the school because they got caught cheating on the exam and were awarded an F.

I am sorry, but if you cheat, you deserve to be suspended.

Case closed.

Lets see.... The first quarter of the 1st game of a new season and a cameraman gets his camera taken and sent to the league. Does that about cover the actual facts? The rest is smoke. I see a small fine and a Charger loss in the near future.

For you, I see a really, really, really long season.

Not really sure what this babble means. Is incestuous parlance common among hayseeds?

great analogy...some fans are in such a state of panic

just suck it up and accept it, ya got busted, take the suspension or slap on the wrist you're going to get, and live with getting called cheaters the rest of your nfl lives

it's not like they're going to take your trophies away , you didn't kill any dogs haha

Actually I want to build a luxury apartment complex on the rubble, where you won't be able to afford entrance.

Funny you mention this:

As the Pats have not been "convicted" guilty of cheating. They had a tape confiscated which allowed absolutely no beneficial play to the Patriots offense or defense.

Analogy:
I have steroids at home. I get caught with steroids, but have never used them. Am I now guilty for using steroids, or merely having them at my disposal?

Analogy II:
I have game footage with clear signals from DC to defense in a game. This footage has not been seen by any Patriots staff (as far as we know). Are they considered cheaters, or merely violating a leauge rule?

Punishment is coming, I assure you. You have A LOT of convincing to do if you wish to prove the Patriots were cheating.

Last time I checked - Innocent until proven guilty.

Vick - innocent until proven guilty.
Merriman - innocent until proven guilty.

I'm good with no salary cap....... It works for baseball, don't it.

Except for 1-2 feelgood teams each year, the rest of the teams that no one gives a **** about, don't make the playoffs and never really get to share the prize.

I'm fine with Kraft telling the rest of the league to lick is azz.

have you lost it?

don't worry man, all ya gotta do is deal with your favorite franchise being called cheaters the rest of your life, it's no big deal.

and the Jets and Giants, with there new 85,000 plus new stadium

Actually, I would think that it would work against NE. Our advantage is talent evaluation and value determination - which all goes out the door if everyone can just sign whoever they need to in order to cover up previous botched signings/picks.

At least none of players got shot running from the cops.......... that would really suck.

Dealing with envious accusations of small minds is the burden of the great, which these Patriots are. We'll manage. Who knows, your team may not even exist by then, in which case you won't technically qualify as a "fan".

No, the Patriots talent evaluation would still come into effect. The only difference is the Patriots wouldn't have to fit their roster into a cap. Yea other teams could try and "buy a title" but that doesn't mean their entire roster would be filled with better players, especially since the Patriots would still have these talent evaluators and the Patriots themselves would have one of the largest budgets in the league. It might never happen but as a Patriots fan I can't see how you'd be worried this would some how effect the Patriots in an adverse way.
