Arguing about cameragate on EEI.

Go Fred! WEEI...

i dont care if he is a homer...nice to hear someone on the pats side. and he does have a lot of good points,

Re: DeOssie and Fred

Thought they where going to kill each other...I also thought that the only good thing to come of this whole mess is that Fat-O was going to give himself a mild coronary yesterday and have to take a few months off

Re: DeOssie and Fred

Duh!
You started the thread. How about a summary of the high points or low ones?

Not sure what they were saying, just a lot of yelling. Telling each other to not argue about stuff that they do not know. Telling each other they did not know what they were talking about.

Literally yelling this stuff back and forth for about 5 minutes straight.

Re: DeOssie and Fred

The big part of the argument was that Fred didn't think the pats should lose a pick. He said it was too severe. Steve was saying since the Commish sent a memo that yes it should be severe. So Fred argued he could have sent many memos. The exchange was hilarious and will probably become the new whiner line intro. The must have said "He sent a memo" a hundred times.

Sorry sweetie. Next time I will post something about the Brad baby. You might find that more interesting.

not if your writing it. :singing:

Re: DeOssie and Fred

The argument arose over the penalty for the taping. DeOssie believed that it would be severe because a memo was sent out. Fred said they could send a memo out for anything and you can't decipher how Goodell felt just because a memo was sent out. Both agreed that the Pats would receive a more harsh penalty than they deserve (Ordway agreed). This literally went back and forth for 15 minutes.

Other notes:
- Fred kept on saying that Sean Salisbury was right, but I'm not sure of Salisbury's exact quote. It was something along the lines of what the Pats did was "much ado about nothing" (paraphrasing).

-Whenever DeOssie said that a memo was sent out so a harsh penalty is in order, Smerlas would counter by asking if DeOssie knew about any other memos that Goodell has sent out. Steve said he didn't. Fred would ask him how he knew a memo meant a severe penalty was in order. Steve would then yell something incoherent.

CliffNotes version:

Fred: Not every memo by the commissioner is serious

Steve: Every memo is serious

Lots and lots of yelling and screaming. Hilarious.

Re: DeOssie and Fred

I love those 2 together. Not for football content although DeOssie does sometimes have insight, but for entertainment.
What happened to their TV Show New England Tailgate"? Can't find it on TiVo listings.

Just reported on WEEI...that Zach Thomas said he new all the audibles of Pats' last year.
