I read from various poster how they don't feel the same about the team and how embarrassed they are to be Patriots fans. Please use this thread to state that you are no longer going to be active Patriots fans because you can't stand the shame.

Homerville has already decreased in population from a city to a village.:p

When the Red Sox season ends, there will be people looking to jump on the Patriots bandwagon. So, if you want to give up your seat please post it here.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

Damn, I tried but it seems my ass is glued to the seat. I think it became attached when I stayed with the team even after the Kiam and Zeke days. Oh well, I guess someone loses a chance to take my seat.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

I am sticking through it, but I have to admit one thing.

The Jets have certainly rocketed up my list of loathed teams. Am I allowed to straddle the pro-Pats and anti-Jets bandwagons?

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

The only thing that has happened in the past 48 hours is my intense hate for the Jets and all of their fans, has gotten more intense. Mangini might be the ultimate looser here.. bet a lot of the "quiet" coaches do not appreciate what he has done here.. his coaching life might become more difficult.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

How about "disgusted with the arrogance of the Patriots AND the politics of the NFL so I'm going to stop supporting any of the NFL's product for a while." Does that make me a bandwagon jumper, huh, does it?

Don't let the door hit your @$$ on the way out.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

Question::

Is it "jumping off the bandwagon" to question why the Pats simply couldn't have put Mark Estrella in the stands, dressed as a civilian, with a small high-tech video camera?

Not to sound disloyal, or anything, but I'd be questioning my beloved country if it outfitted our brave troops in the mountains of Afghanistan with flashing neon U.S Flag Yarmulkes.

Kinda yeah, a rose by any other name... and all that crap.

Why are you still here? With your level of disgust, I would imagine you'd be looking for something else to occupy your time already. Time is money after all.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

I've been a fan since I was 16 years old. I am now 47. I've seen and been through the worst with this team. This is just a bump in the road, my friends. Coach Belichick will prevail as will the team. That ratfink Mangina just took on one of the league's most influential coaches. I haven't doubted BB before, no need to start now. I'll always be a pats fan.

the pats are my football family - you NEVER stop supporting your family, no matter what happens.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

Even if somebody wanted to jump off the bandwagon you're still on an island with the rest of us. We're all alone now. All we have is each other. No more light-ribbing with other fans, no more "hate ya but respect ya" thing, the football world has turned against us. It doesn't matter if we are found guilty or not, punished or not - the world wants to believe it and will hate the Pats until Belichick leaves.

I'm going to stay on the bandwagon until the grave. All we can do now is look ahead.

There are plenty of questions to ask, I have a few. Such as, if they were warned about it, why did they continue to do it? I'd like to hear, if I can, the teams explaination for that. But, I have been through a lot worst things as a patiots fan since 1970, so I look at his as a minor bump inthe road.

But this thread is for those who have said they are so shamed by this "scandel" , that they don't know if they can look at the team in the same way ever again. Just trying to see who is giving up their seats.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

I'm off the Belichick is a genius bandwagon. This is something a buckethead like Mike Tice wouldn't have even done.

Re: The official: Jumping off the bandwagon thread.

Shamelessly "stealing" a quote from Tito - If that young man(Eric) wanted to get our attention, he's succeeded!
Ol' baby face will find a try and find a hole to crawl into but somehow I don't think it'll help his short stay in NY.

Yep. Bye bye. Posting here is supporting the NFL product.

No one is required to root for the Pats. Those who were fans in the late 80's, early 90's will see this as nothing. If we can be fans after the Pats traded the right to pick Jerry Rice and use the pick on Trevor Matich, we can root for the Pats through the current mistakes.

I suspect that most of the bandwagon jumpers became fans around January-February 2002.

You mean like selling super Bowl tickets for profit?

If you bought into the genius thing then that's your fault. I just considered him to be, and still is, a excellent football coach with very good organizational skills and business sense.

Just for the record.... put me SQUARELY in the village then. Good riddance to the naysayers and the pilers-on. I honestly don't care what folks OUTSIDE of our fanbase think... heck, it might be fun just for you guys to watch (you all haven't had much neg. stuff to watch about the Pats over the past decade) and I'll cool with that.... BUT, if you say that you are a fan of the Pats.... and you aren't a fan of BB... IMO you are no fan.

This fellow brought us three SBs, 4 AFC Championships in a row, and the title of Dynasty. If you don't like the bus driver.... GET OFF OF THE BUS.

YES... it does.... if you are disgusted with the Pats... don't call yourself a Pats fan.

OK, Benedict.... then why are you posting here?
