Mod Appreciation Thread

Hey I just want to say thanks to the mods who did a stellar job today of containing the influx of rubberneckers and trolls. It would have been a lot more difficult to stomach the news that keeps flooding in if we had to sift through troll posts in every thread. This has obviously been tough enough for everybody here, so kudos for keeping the floor swept. I can't imagine what a time consuming job that must have been today.

I would have at least thought in all this chaos he would have run over to talk a bunch of crap.

My thanks to the mods as well. It's difficult enough to try and sort out facts from opinions with all the talking heads on TV without having to deal with trolls on this fine board.

Unless and until the NFL actually puts something in writing, it's all pure speculation. That and $5.00 will get you a cup of half-@ssed coffee at Starbucks.

Thanks, folks. It has been an interesting 48 hours and one really gets a fascinating perspective on the human mind from the boards (and the PM's!).

When there is a flood like this, it's impossible to keep 'em all off, but we hope to at least keep them from taking over.

As I stated on another thread, they mod's have done an exceptional job here the last couple of days.

Anyone who is dissatisfied with what the mod's are doing, don't have a clue. They can ask for a full refund for what they paid to enjoy this site.

I am not a mod on this forum so I can say this.

Here's something to cheer everyone up regarding trolls!

Yesterday, a thread by the famous Frank Moga III appeared (for a brief time before Pats1 took it to the trash bin). Here is what Moga posted:

I'm a mod on a discussion board (non-football) and I can directly understand what the Mods here are going through. I'm sure we are only seeing a fraction of the crapola that is occurring and I wish to commend them for their hard (un-paid) work.

Little hurts a moderator more than to have members come in and say, "Why aren't you Mods doing anything?", when, actually, behind the scenes they are spending waaaay too much of their personal time deleting/moving/banning/writing-each-other-on-a-private-screen while we out here are seeing none of it.

I wish to give a standing O to all the Admin/Mods for all their hard (unseen) work during this time!!!!!!:eat3:
