Bledsoe hurt.

Brady unproven.

Glenn a petulant child.

Raiders with more talent. Steelers with more talent. Rams with WAY more talent.

Milloy released.

"They hate their coach."

Juggernaut Colts hadn't punted during the playoffs.

Seymour injured.

Law injured. Asante injured. Wilson injured - secondary decimated. Earthwind Moreland playing. UDFA Gay starting Super Bowl.

Russ Hochstein starting.

Season after season of injuries, especially that pesky secondary.

ALL of this - adversity, injury, controversy - and over and over, what do the Pats do? F the pundits. F the problems. F the injuries. Focus. Focus and stick to the mantra, stay disciplined, single-minded, make no excuses, accept none, and the mantra is this:

WIN. ANYWAY.

What he said.

Yeah! What I said.

ya, what Kdo5 said, about what you said.

What are they going to say when we win the Superbowl *this* year

Thank you! Truely thank you. I needed that today. All of this will just be a memory in 2 weeks but it sux right now. Its good to have a pick me up now and then. So good post. Keep the faith and right the ship!

We can do better than that. Now's the time to unleash a perfect season on these f.ckers @sses

Boy oh boy they've got to ROLL this season.

I didn't think it was possible for me to root any harder for the Pats. Think again.

The Patriots are going to come out and KILL someone this weekend. This is one of the few times in this run where it seems like BELICHICK has been the one that is vulnerable - the other being, maybe, when his dad died. I really think this game is going to bring something extra out of the team, on Belichick's behalf.

They will win by at least 10 points and he is getting that g-damn game ball. Period.

Still a little shell shocked and confused, but by the time Sunday comes will be back to business... I am glad they are home this weekend and not on the road.

I for one whole heartily agree!!! This will hopefuly put the Pats into the "bunker" mentality and they'll give the whole league one big finger after they walk away with the superbowl

PatJew, we got busted in week one! Maybe they'll say we shouldn't have won that one  , but the remaining season shouldn't be under scrutiny.

I took LT #1 in my fantasy league. I'm disgusted with myself

edited to add, patsox, that would make a great sig line...WIN.ANYWAY.

Glenn a petulant child. That was actually true and we all kow this.

Raiders with more talent. Steelers with more talent. Rams with WAY more talent. Now you're off.

Milloy released. Had to happen.

"They hate their coach." No comment.

Wow? No knowledge of previous posts. Seems like this one might strike a chord with the pat nation. Am I right?

Whatever. You're about to suffer your 1st loss this season. Best for you to keep your head up and just hope for the best. :D

What you guys said.

Hey, I am disappointed. I am waiting to see everything there is to see... we'll have weeks if not months of "And ya gotta think, Al, would they have those three rings if it weren't for..."

What better motivation?

Here I was thinking that our biggest problem would be assuming we had it in the bag with all the new talent. And then POW, a big jug of Hateraid!

The possibility does exist that "they're" right, that the Pats look so good against these guys because they're regularly stealing, taping, half-time adjusting, yadda yadda yadda.

The possibility also exists that, uh, you just lose to us all the time, Titans, Packers, Jets fans.

Now you've got the New England Patriots backed into a corner with everything on the line.

Yep. Let's start with this Sunday night, with our crybaby little brothers coming into town whining at the top of their lungs about how we have no class, and woulda shoulda coulda lost to them.

Did Belichick tape signals used on interceptions, and find out that if you throw one to Marlin McCree he'll try to run with it instead of just falling on the ball?

Did he tape some signal that let the Pats know he's vulnerable to a strip?

Didn't think so.

Talent edge is on the other side now... and as for motivation, Philip CryMeARivers is about to find out how stewing over his own ineptitude for a few months stacks up against a team with a ton of talent, the best coaching in the league, and its back to the wall.

Okay rant over. That said, losing Sunday night would SO suck.
