Mark Schlereth should be GONE off the air for his reporting [merged]

We have bigger problems than Mark Schlereth. Stay away from ESPN if it's bothering you.

But we're probably going to hear a lot more along those lines from a lot of people, so I would just get used to it or avoid it all together.

iam still wondering all the hits brady took last yr. the SD game shouldnt have been this difficult if going by all these theories is true.

Geez, how did the Pats lose to the Broncos and Colts in the Playoffs? You would think if all the IDIOTS in the press were right, they should have won the last two Super Bowls as well.

Re: Breaking news: Kettle (Schlereth) called pot black

he just said on nfl live that the pats should be made to forfeit the game and its no different than hgh or steriods

If that's the logic, then the Pats should not forfeit the game. The NFL didn't make San Diego forfeit games that Merriman played in.

a big reason we are going to take hits is because BB never responds-right or wrong. He just let people talk good or bad and ignores it . He unlike other people never gives an interview or refutes or accepts anything so everyone has a free hand of what they are saying.

Oh, you.. don't be logical or you'll get whipped.

Wow, what a great find. That article makes all this outrage seems so ridiculous, especially from a former Bronco like Schlereth.

More perspective from last season....

NFL: Dolphins did no wrong vs. Patriots

The incident spawned considerable attention on Tuesday after some Dolphins players suggested to the Palm Beach (Fla.) Post that the team "purchased" tapes of the New England offense that provided audio of quarterback Tom Brady making audible and line-blocking calls.

The league's response? Pretty much a stifled yawn, since there is no rule prohibiting such film study.

"Reaction around the league office was, 'That's football,' " AFC spokesman Steve Alic said.

bump back to front

I would like to remind everyone that the reason Schlereth is employed on ESPN, his claim to fame, was his role on 2 SB winning teams with the Broncos. Denver, subsequent to their Sb victories, was found guilty by Paul Tagliabue of circumventing the salary cap with massive under the table payments to John Elway, and was forced to forfeit a 3rd rd pick. I would like Mark Schlereth, a long suspected steroid abuser, who played at 300 lbs and instantly dropped 50 lbs when he retired, to voluntarily give up his SB rings, in the spirit of good sportsmanship. I would also like to point out that the foundation of that team was a tremendous running game, based on the chop block, now outlawed for being needlessly cruel and vicious, ending numerous careers. What a joke.

I wouldn't doubt if the colts last season knew calls and signals. It is mighty suspicious that everytime Maroney tried to run Sanders was knowing just where he was.

People at the time said Maroney was giving away "tells" but where does the line stop and end on giving away "tells" and figuring out signals?????????

I already mentioned this in another thread, and also mentioned that NFL Network commentator Terrell Davis, who was equally nasty in his condemnation of the Pats, actually RECEIVED those illegal payments.

With the use of videocameras.

Re: Breaking news: Kettle called pot black

I believe Schereth said the information is evaluated at halftime.
I heard it the way the other poster said, but he rambled quite a bit. Might hadve said it both ways

Do you think that camera man stayed on the field at half time? My guess is he went straight to the Pats lockerroom and gave the tapes to Belichick. This is a disgrace to the game IMO and if the Pats don't either forfeit the win or lose a first round pick, it's ridiculous.

This is cheating, plain and simple. How can you condone this in any way shape or form.

How good are the dolphins? Wanker.
