Do you think this allegations by the Jets will cause New England some distractions esepcially before one of the more important matchups of the season with SD this week?

I think Mangini and the Jets organization were looking for anything to ruin the season for NE,Could this be retaliation from the allegations that were made last year between Eric and BB?

I don't buy the story that Mangini and BB are still close friends like some media publications have said,I think Eric and the Jets FO is evil and trying all kinds of ways to derail the Patriots express this year and what better way to do it then just before a game against what may be the biggest hurdle for the Patriots on the road to the SB.

Distractions can be troublesome to a team,I know you can't compare these two but just look at the distractions T.O. caused the Eagles when they were right in the middle of a great season ,then boom the season fell apart and that is with a very good coach in Reid and a great FO in Philly - Distractions can definately affect a teams performance to some extent IMO

I just hope the Patriots are strong enough to endure what might be a stretched out to a week or two investigation and distractions that may be hard to ignore - Time will tell.

Whether its true or false allegations I want it over with and fast! - Goodell hopefully gets this crap over with and quickly so we can move on to the season without disruption like some teams want to do to the Patriots which is probably the only way the other teams think the Pats can implode.

No.
The Super Bowl Express can not be stopped until it reaches Arizona. They will scrape whoever got in front of it off when it gets there.

I think it will give them the grounds for one of their patented "Everyone against us" motivations. Someone else said this on another thread and I agree 100%.

Every team plays this game in some form or another. I think it's stupid, but I know for a fact the Patriots aren't the only team in the league guilty of such behavior.

No affect at all. The Pats strive off this "us vs the world" stuff. Also, there has always been some sort of distraction during every SB year.

I am sure they are not the only team to do this - If in fact it is found that they did, but when you have a very highly profiled team this year like the Pats ,the media and opposing teams will do everything in their power to pull an elite team back down into the middle of the pack by throwing all they can at the elite teams
