Of course, it being Belichick, it won't be anything overt. And it's not like he doesn't focus or try really hard NO MATTER WHAT, but if there's a little extra "F you" in his bloodstream, fantastic. If this can give the team a little edge, a little Rodney Harrison-style persecution chip on their shoulder, sounds good to me. Just taking a negative and turning it into a positive.

If , IF the Patriots did what they were told not to do, in no uncertain terms, and they did it anyway, the Patriots SHOULD be punished, and severely.

I disagree, I hate hearing this crap and I hate hearing the HGH shi*. We won 3 titles and we were/are the class of the league and however common some of this stuff is I hate hearing about it/knowing we are cheating and hurting our image. let them hate us for being good and not for being cheap.

I agree with those who think little will come of this. I suspect that there is indeed a lot of this sort of stuff occuring routinely in the NFL. If Mangy did go out of his way to break an unspoken code of conduct, then I am sure he will reap what he's sown in the long run.

No it wouldn't. It IS an embarassment to the cheater Patriots. It should be a rule that if caught doing this you have to forfeit all your draft picks for 2 seasons and suffer a cap hit. Why so severe? Because ITS CHEATING. Intentional cheating just like using steroids or HGH. Really I believe there should be an instant year long ban for HGH and Steroids even if it means some of the best players in the league not playing. The NFL is way too soft on these million dollar cheaters.
