Soooo much better with Jaworski. It's like night and day, MNF is finally watchable again with the commentary guy actually offering informed observations and not brain damaged verbal diarreha. Kornheiser even seems slightly more innocuous, less able to get worked up and irritating from sitting next to Theismann. I still don't understand why they keep him on staff; viewership isn't an issue anymore because it's on ESPN, so why do they even need the third guy if he's not a football person? Thank god they fired Theismann though, the entertainment value of listening to the inane things he says during a game gets old quick.

Do we have 1 or 2 MNF games this year?

Kornheiser's entertaining and has a good bit of insight at times. I like him.

Ravens looking like s&*t. AFC North might be Pittsburgh's this year.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

Kkornheiser is awful and so was Chad's td celebration. Just do a high five with your teammate and call it a td. forget the celebrations.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

I love watching players celebrate on the field like they're owning when they haven't scored a point.

Chad Johnson is an idiot.

Then they finally score and blow the extra point.

Hahahahaha Chad Johnson had a sport coat in a trash bag... What the hell was that??

You have the best sig ever.

It'd be watchable if Baltimore wasn't playing. I've been saying it for awhile; they're a bad team. Their brand of bad just allows them to beat other bad teams.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

Yeah but good lord Ray Lewis is a beast. Did you see that man's face?

3rd Ravens turnover in under 10 minutes of play.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

Chad Johnson's celebration was pretty weak. He tries to copy the actually entertaining antics of guys like Joe Horn (the cell phone), TO (dancing on the star and the sharpie), and Randy Moss (the false moon), but goes way over the top and usually fails miserably. Like that one. Wow, a sport coat, how funny.

And I love celebrations and stuff like that. It keeps the game fun.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

I think the Ravens best days are behind them. They don't look like they could be the Pats,Indy,Chargers or Steelers imo

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

What happend to Marvin Lewis?
Crutches?

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

One of his wide recievers mugged him.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

Funny enough, these are the exact two teams we play on MNF. If any indications of opening day bear out, the Pats don't look to have the killer schedule it seemed like in the offseason.

Kornheiser is annoying. He couldn't shut up about chad johnson and what he was going to do. He kinda spoiled it by talking about it so much before and after. I'm like dude just let it happen and let us react. I don't need your instant overreatcion and analysis that went on after everyone else was focused on the game again.

Week 1 man. Everyone's first game thats why so many upsets happen the first week of the year. Hell a team will probably start out 2-3 and make the playoffs.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

I didn't mind Theisman so much after they got rid of McGrath.

Re: OT - MNF Watchable Without Theismann

And that is why Ed Reed is the best player in the NFL.

If Bill took a break from game planning for SD to watch this, he's got wood!

They say that is one of his sincerest regrets - passing on Reed in 2002 because of character concerns...

Too bad he signed an extension with the mess that Baltimore will ultimately become. Although there is always the chance that Ozzie will have to cut salary for the eventual post Billick rebuild with an offense.

What a waste of an offense in Cincy. Chad should refrain from all celebrations until they actually manage to win something. And if I was Goodell I'd fine him for uniform violations for the suitcoat on the sidelines, just on principle. He's harmless, I know, but he just encourages those who aren't necessarily harmless.
