With the Patriots Leading 31-14 why not pull Brady and get Cassel in the game for some snaps?

Wouldn't it be good to get some regular season tape of his work?

They never do and if they do it's situations like Flutie or Vinny.

The season is young and Brady needs game-time experience with his new receivers. We have Chargers next week and game-time tuneups are much more productive than practice field reps.
...that's my theory.....

I'm still looking for a confirmation on the reason Hanson was in as holder on all field goals after the Cassel muff. Was Matt injured on the snap or just demoted? There may be a reason they waited until Gutierrez could take a knee before subbing for Brady. Given the nature of the team's management of information, we'll probably never know, but it was interesting that Cassel wasn't in at the end.

Q. Why wasn't Brady pulled?

A. Mangini, is the name of the other team's coach.

Zolak and DeOssie were opining last night that they think he likely jammed a finger on the muffed hold. They didn't think BB would pull his holder over 1 missed hold. And when it comes to taking knees, Bill tends to either leave his starter in or send in the #3. He did with Vinny a couple of times last season.

Yeah, I just heard the jammed finger opinion, and it seems logical.

On substituting #3, now that you mention it, I recall this practice from seasons before.
