Just checking if it was a malfunction of my DirecTV DVR or if this happened to others. I was watching the HD feed of the game. On the TD bomb to Moss, the picture started breaking up, and then just as the ball was ready to drop into Moss' hands, the picture froze. Talk about agony! It just stayed there, and ultimately I had to fast forward to clear this up. Did this happen to anyone else?

Didn't happen to me. I have Dish Network HD with DVR not Directv though.

Nope, it was clean for me. Bad luck, it sounds like.

Didnt happen to me I have Directv HD and mine was fine... was it raining or windy where you were?

Hmm... didn't think t consider that. We had periods of heavy rain, but don't recall it occurring at this point. The entire rest of the gamecast was clean. Probably just a hiccup on my DVR.

I had no interruption on DirecTV HD. However, when there are thunder storms in the general area that can sometimes interfere with the satellite signal, you'll occasionally see freezing and pixilation at times. This doesn't happen often, but if the storms are severe, you can get this effect. Unfortunately, you must have been experiencing that at the exact wrong time during the game.

nope, we watched it straight through.

I bet it was a Bill Polian-engineered conspiracy.

Not me either. I did get a scare before the game when my Direct TV locked up and I got a message that said "Programming will return at 6 PM".

I just think it was a case of your DVR being caught in disbelief.

No problem for me - DIRECTV HD and my 50" Plasma looked so fine.

My HD coverage was ok for that play,it does hiccup every little while, where it freezes for a second or two,its a pain actually, though I love the HD,it really makes a difference IMO.Any one familiar with this,or what causes it?

Sounds like it was a localized issue to you. I didn't have that happen when I was watching.
