Game wasn't on TV here.

Did he play?

Thanks.

i didn't notice him. which is probably a good thing for a rookie safety. :)

Meriweather was out there most of the 2nd half as the Pats switched over to their Nickel package. He didn't really stand out. There were a couple of passes to his guy, but he was solid on the tackles. Meriweather actually was on special teams as well..

Better than Asante. ;)

Just joking. Kind of.

He finished up with 4 tackles.

He seemed quick to tackle when his guy got the ball.
By the way, who is #31? I saw him on the field on defense a lot, and didn't recognize the jersey.

edit: weird, okay Meriweather is 31, I thought he was 38 before?

Kyle Eckel is 38. I think Andrews is 36. I think Richarson was 38.

Richardson was 35. Meriweather's been 31 for weeks now. I think I am noticing Meriweather in on tackles A LOT and hardly ever on coverage and incompletes. But, hey, he's young. He'll learn.

23 (Andrews, I guess) is FAST. He caught up to Ellis Hobbs and passed him on the big kickoff return.

Ellis Slowed down as he got closer to the endzone as he knew nobody was going to catch him. Incidently Andrews was a very good returning in college, so yes he is fast.

He didn't stomp anyone in the pile so that seems like a good day to me.

Hobbs slowed up and watched himself on the big screen.

After 28-7, it looked like the Pats were keeping it in front and giving yardage for time, so keeping YAC to zero was a good result.
