I just think his value to the Pats has been overstated on here.

He did a "nice" job for us last year. But he truly had no place on this team this year.

If injuries crop up, he may be back.

The Charger scouts have probably already contacted Reche's agent to come in for a visit this upcoming week. I doubt it will help.

Funny, but I didn't see the Gaffney and Washington show out there today. Did I miss their 12 catches for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns? I don't recall many people suggesting Reche should be kept over Moss, Stallworth or Welker, after all.

Gaffney was solid, but Welker and Moss were more out in the fore front... While Washington was more focused on Special teams, you will see him enough during the season..

I'm not trying to knock them at all. I just don't get the crap being given to Caldwell after this game. It's petty and stupid, especially because the 2 players he was supposedly competing against showed relatively little as wide receivers.

What were they suppose to show with Moss and Welker getting the majority of the receptions?

They are the 4th and 5th receivers. Gaffney had a nice 1st down reception and Washington was a monster on ST's.

Reche just had no place on the team as the way the team is currently structured, he has little to offer.
