I can think of four nominees:

* Tom Brady.
* Randy Moss.
* Ellis Hobbs.
* The OL (for keeping Tommy upright all game).

Who's your pick?

I vote OL. Hobbs' return was awesome, but it was one play. Brady and Moss were both ridiculous, but those were both possible because the OL was looking for guys to hit all day.

How do you choose? You should have an option for all the above! I chose the O-line, but I really I couldn't decide.

O-Line had a great game.

Yep, I'd give that game ball to the O-line.

Damn, for some reason I missed you had the O line up there.

O-line for me. Awesome.

I'll go with Randy Moss.
The offensive line made this game a success no doubt,
but Moss' special talent on the outside led to many Patriots big plays today.
He completely gashed the Jets secondary and his presence impacted the game as there was no way the Jets could afford not to double him when they could, and certainly no way they could play close to the line to stop our running game because of the Randy factor.

Randy Moss had arguably the best debut performance in Pats history.

I had to give the game ball to the OL as that was the best protection I can remember as a Pats fan. Virtually no Jets even got near Brady the entire game. Moss had an excellent game as well, obviously. Even Brady was near perfect... as far as I can remember he threw only 2 bad passes all day: one that was knocked aways by a Jet defender in the 1st half and the low ball to Stallworth on the screen. His other 4 incompletions were 2 throwaways, a drop by Welker and a slip by Welker.

Man, the offense was scary today. The Jets should have a good defense too and we were on the road. Very impressive!

I vote Hobbs..

He broke an NFL record which hasn't even come close since 1979. All Tommy and Randy did was par for the course. the O-line is awesome as alaways as were Tommy and Randy. Wes is such a key ingredient of things to come....

i voted Randy Moss but also our OL was awesome

when the incompletions are low enough for you to remember each one...that's somethin special

What about Vrabel? 6 tackles 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. All in all this was a mechanized butt raping of the Jets in all aspects of the game.

All of the above, but I have to pick Moss because we had the same O-line last year but Brady had a mediocre (for him) year because he didn't have a top WR to throw to.

O-Line was dominant. Brady got "brushed" a couple times, but they excelled in pass protection and run blocking. Mankins was big and the rest were solid. A few times, Jets players went flying when they approached the "bubble" surrounding Brady. Great game for this group! They were the reason the game plan worked so well.

One Player? Have to pick the anchor of the O-line, Dan Koppen. Brady had only one pressure up the middle, and that was a completion for first down! Nice job, Koppen.

You want find more of a Moss fan here than me, but the game ball belongs to OL. They were just about flawless as pass blocking. Perhaps we should list the pass blocking, rather then the OL, since some running backs and TE's really did well in picking up blitzes.

The offensive line was really awesome. It wasn't just Brady making them look good. He was standing still waiting for WRs to eventually get open.

:agree: :ditto:

BUT... what a great issue to have... I thought we would be good... but man... that was something to watch.
