I want to see these clowns who've bombarded this board over the last couple weeks show up here and give their perspective on the game.
Cheering Penningtons injury was a new low, even for Jet fans.

The Pats looked great today! Congrats! While I do think the Jets will have their troubles next week and throughout the season, I truly don't believe most of the fans were cheering Pennington getting hurt.

P.S. - Many of the "clowns" who bombarded this messageboard did so in response to the Patriot trolls who have a combined 60,000 posts on the Jets Insider forums. Let's face it, the Jets aren't even in the same league as the Pats - why do they find it necessary to get involved in every thread. this is low, even for Pats fans.

On Jets Insider,the average age is about 14-24,
most of the threads are homophobic or about masturbation.

Expect the Jets trolls to slink back to their own forums for a few weeks now that their team got trashed and they've had to eat humble pie.

Don't worry though, they will be back the week before the next Pats-Jets game and they'll still be predicting a Jets victory.
At this point the best they can hope for is not to get AS embarrassed the next time they face us. :singing:

I'm still here, I said all along that you guys are still a much more talented team. Your lines are clearly still on another level and the Jets did nothing to improve them. The way you guys played today I would be disappointed if the pats didn't win another superbowl. Any Jets fan who tells you that our team is as good as yours is nuts.

Until the Jets are able to build up lines on both sides of the ball they will continue to play the smoke and mirror game. It works against crappy teams and against bad coaches. You guys had an awesome offseason and it looks like it has translated onto the field.

Good post. Glad to have you here if you can stand some of the more intolerant. This may become the year the Jets expected to go through last season. Given the success from last season, it seemed to heighten the idea that all that would continue and build through this season. Yet, there are several areas that need improvement, as Edwards and crew did not leave the team in good shape for the long haul.

Pennington has all my respect for his courage and intelligence. You've got the building blocks. Good luck going forward. Until we meet again . . .

Thanks, this may be the transition year. The Jets need to build up the lines on both sides of the ball before they can play with the top teams. Dewayne Robertson will not cut at it NT. Adrien Clarke, Brandon Moore and Anthony Clement are all average pass blockers at best and probably below average run blockers.

A lot of people were happy to get Revis and Harris but I thought we would have been better off trading down a few spots and getting Blalock or Grubbs. It all starts with the lines and our lines just aren't cutting it.
