(FOXBORO) Rumors are intensifying that Randy Moss may be kept on the New England Patriots roster another week after all.

PFT has learned by watching TV that Randy is over 150 yards receiving, with a TD, even in the Pats' famously evenly distributed offensive attack.

By watching him actually play with Brady, PFT's expert analysts are projecting that rumors may be less important than spectacular play on the field, and that it might in fact mean something that Moss is still one of the most dangerous receivers in the National Football League.

"Still, he missed preseason games," said one PFT analyst who will not be named, or for that matter ever employed by an actual sports news outlet.

But Randy clearly is just jogging out there. He's not putting out any effort at all. Did you see him in that 51 yard touchdown? He wasn't even running! :D

Rumor is that Moss is still not 100%, on his TD catch he looked like he was jogging, and unfortunetly BB does not like guys who dont give 100%

Either he's injury-prone, or just not interested in succeeding in the Patriots system. Expect to see him on the waiver wire on Monday.

BS!

That was a TD

Randy Moss will probably be cut this week, he did nothing today.. oh wait, he just had the 3rd biggest game of his career, forget about it, PFT signing off.

Are you sure about that? BB walked right up to Randy after that play and congratulated him. He even had a smile on his face. If he can get open down field not giving a 100% and still score, I'll bet BB really don't care that much.

Moss looked great, but he did this against 2 horrible db's. Nevertheless, I'm interested to see if he keeps it up.

Anyone notice the high-class "how to be right when you're wrong" move on PFT?

" A week ago, there were rumors that the Pats were pondering the possibility of cutting Moss, due to concerns that he might not be happy with his role.

But after what Paolantonio earlier called a "spectacular" week of practice, Moss will be with the first-team offense."

See, Florio was right all along, but the guy got the message and managed to save his job ... :bricks:

But see...that is the beauty of this team...if Moss is getting double/triple teamed, Brady has 3-4 other guys he can go to. Heck, if the O-Line blocks like this all year....

Look guys, He didnt even play in the pre-season, perhaps we can wait a bit so that he gets a chance to GEL with Brady. You know, really, to give up on one pathetic 187 yd performance is a little premature. I'm sure with a little more time, they'll get it right ;) .

I hope we don't cut him, personally.

NO way Moss stays on this team, Caldwell was only "cut" to go to Mangini to spread "disinformation" for this game.

Of course Moss is going to get cut. He's a cancer in the locker room. Did you see how unhappy that team looked on the sidelines? They clearly don't like each other. Oh, and they hate their coach. And did you see Moss showboating after that TD? He stuck his arms out to both sides! Disgusting.

Did you watch his body language?

He clearly was not happy that Brady completed 13 passes for 114 yards to receivers other than him.

Was the source listening to the grapevine or making grape wine? Enquiring minds want to know.:p
