I can still remember the blindside blitz from a hard hitting Takeo Spikes that Brady took on the very first play on offense in 2006 resulting in a TD for the bills as London Fletcher picked up the loose ball and ran 12 yards into the end zone within 7 seconds of the 1st quarter,Bet it will be a better result this year - can't possibly be worse, right?

The fact that Brady got hit from a super hard hitting LB like Takeo Spikes made me hold my breath for a few seconds,Matt Light I believe was the lineman that Spikes went by untouched to the QB

The fact that Spikes nearly twisted Brady's head off and took it home with him was quite a sight, too.

I really think that losing Spikes and Fletcher will absolutely DEVASTATE that Buffalp defense - How can you lose two of the best LBs in football the same year and be competitive? - Spikes and Fletcher are just that-Excellent top of the mountain players

Heh we better be able to do better than a Sack, forced fumble, fumble lost, Def TD. I think the first play will be a bomb to welker.

"Sack, forced fumble, fumble lost, defensive TD, and missed roughing the passer." :enranged:

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

The first offensive play from scrimmage for the 2007 NEP will be a "go" to Moss for a big gain, maybe even a TD

That will set the tone and the rest of the game (season?) will be all welker, watson and maroney.

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

First play will be a handoff to Maroney. Guarenteed. If we pass it is a completion to Welker for 7 yards.

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

Fake double reverse flea-flicker.

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

Well, if last night was any indication, Moss is going to burn Jason David for a TD.

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

I say it would be a triple reverse, hand of to moss, option, pass to TB for a TD!!

Re: I can safely say our first offensive play in 2007 will be better than last years

That would be cool if on the very first play Brady throws a long 65 yard pass for a TD to Stallworth just before Vilma is able to get to him - Vilma is a c-cky bazturd

I was on my way to my seats on the upper level and was walking across the bridge when that play happened, so I was looking right down on the end zone as Brady got strip sacked. Suffice to say, I almost threw myself off the bridge.

It would have made the best NFL Film if they had won the Superbowl... Patriot 2006 season in review, I can hear the voice 'The Patriots started out of synch but ended in style..."

I had the game on DVR and was on my way to watch when my wife came in and said ' You aren't going to like the start of the game'. My fear was Brady was hurt and after the sack my heart jumped I was scanning the field for any signs of life. Thankfully he was ok, the helmet to ribs hit (spearing) against the Jags also made my heart stop.

In some ways they got lucky to beat the Bills, it goes to show you how tough it is to win in the NFL.

I say it will be a 2 yard run by Maroney. Anyone want to bet against me?

Any day of the week. You have one outcome to win, many more to lose. I'll take those odds.

They don't play each other this year.
