Anybody ever been there? I just bought tickets to the Pats/Colts game there on Nov. 4. I am also going to the Notre Dame/Navy game the day before. For those of you who have been there, what is it like? Thanks.

No idea but that's a HELLUVA 24-hours of football.

For a dome, it's a decent place. Very loud at times though (as you might imagine) with all that sound contained.

Yah I figure its a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. Last season at the RCA dome before they move to a new dome and ticket prices go through the roof. You also got the two best quarterbacks, or at least will be, ever to play the game in the prime of their careers. Then we got the oppurtunity to watch a Notre Dame game for face value.

Do yourself a favor. Record the crowd during the Irish game, spend the night listening to it on headphones with the volume cranked to 11.

That will prepare you for all the crap artificial crowd noise they pump over the speakers.

Once a dirty team, always a dirty team.

I'm going to that game too although I dislike domes. Artificial noise when the fans really aren't making that much noise.

I'd advise ear plugs and a muscle shirt for game attire.

Agreed. It's hot and loud, but a fun place to watch the game. I was there for the Colts/Pittsburgh playoff game two years ago and it was weird to wear your winter coat to the game and then have to take it off and sit on it for the game. In the upper decks (where I sat) it's metal bleachers ala the old Fox. The area around the stadium is fun - it's like there is a football stadium in the middle of Fanueil Hall. Everyone goes to the bars instead of tailgating outside. Have fun!!

Have fun at the RUGay Dome........let's hope the pats quiet the crowd for you:D

It;s nothing to write home about. It will be loud and unless you have bleeders, your view should be pretty good.

Have you ever been to South Bend for a game before? It's awsome. Get there early so you can walk around a soak it in.

Be sure to wear a t-shirt and shorts. It's unusually warm in there. ;)

Have fun with that drive from South Bend to Indy. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Awesome trip for you, as folks have stated, (maybe you have been), but getting a look at Touchdown Jesus from inside the stadium is pretty awesome. I hope things turn around for them.

As far as the Dome, what can you say, it is a decent venue, but built in 1984. Who'd a thunk it would become antiquated so quickly. After us and the Boys finish up their respective stadiums, who will have the oldest one in the league??

Oakland,Minnesota (of course Lambeau and Soldier)-who else?

Ehhhhhhh I beg to differ about Chicago. Only thing 'old' is the outside colonades... and they are only there to pacify the purists who didn't want them torn down. For all intensive purposes its a brand new stadium.
