I honestly this will be a great game with the Patriots and the Jets.

Eric Mangini vs Bill Belilichick, Studtent vs Teacher, The AFC East champions of last year in the NE Patriots vs the Wild Card team who was runner up in the AFC East in the New York Jets.

Chad vs Brady

Thomas Jones and Leon Washington vs L.Maroney and S.Morris

Moss, Stallworth and Welker vs Coles, Cotchery and J.Mac

This game has alot of great matchups left and right.

How will the JEts young O-Line with D'Brickishaw Ferguson and Mangold play without a veteran OG in P.Kendall in the middle actually keep Chad Pennington healthy vs a Patriots D-Line with Wilfork and Warren?

How will the 2 rookies play for the Jets in D.Revis and D.Harris? And how will J.Green and Sanders play for the Patriots? Those 4 players could be key in this game come Sunday.

Leon Washington vs Kevin Faulk in terms of 3rd down scat backs.

This game will be a tough one, no matter what... Alot of nice matchups this Sunday.

I'm more excited about the Chargers game in week 2. However, I'm glad the Patriots take it one game at a time.

I would expect Jets fans to think it'll be a great game because, IMO, they can only win a close one. OTOH I think the Patriots can, and will, make a laugher out of it.

Patriots fans aren't really looking past the Jets but the real matchup is week 2 against the big boys San Diego. Your Jets aren't anywhere near there yet.

The Patriots will win by more than a TD. It won't be a close game. The Patriots are set up to be a dominant team this season.

im not here to claim victory in week 1, but a laugher i think not. the game holds on the shoulders of pennington and if he comes to play it'll be close. beliWHO will force chad to beat the pats which he did in the playoff game, he'll pack 8 in the box. if the jets offense and chad can exploit the pats secondary will have a chance to win in the 4th quater. should be a good matchup. i look for a late game in foxboro this season to be dominated more by the pats once there all on the same page and in midseason form.

Sorry but untill proven otherwise Mangina and Gomer aren't even in the same league with their Pats counterparts. So no I don't think those matchups are that interesting.

cant argue there, im more excited for the jets new cheerleaders vs the flags they have to carry across field. the matchups arent too appealing, but if there was intriguing matchup it would be chad vs pats secondary, we know beliWHO is gonna make chad beat them and stack 8 in the box

I disagree with this. I give NY the run all day. They need to pass to win.

well by putting 8 in the box hes begging the jets to throw the ball and i think the pats will take that matchup all the time

My point is that he would much rather ask the Jets to run. Why would NE want NY to do what they do best? And weaken their ability to defend it at the same time?

Dude, just stop posting here. You don't represent most Jets fans and you sound like a dolt.

I think this will be a close one. Naturally I think the Pats will win, but I think the Jets will give us some trouble. It'll be close through three quarters anyway.

This should be our most crushing victory to date.

I pity the Colts especially their run game and OL.

We honestly don't really care that much. I mean, we're psyched for the season to start and always happy to see NE beat a divisional opponent. I'm just saying that this isn't our game of the year (that distinction is reserved for the playoffs, or at least the Colts in the regular season).

It must suck to be a NYJ fan, it's all downhill from Sunday.
