San Diego wins, but Bears soften them up for the nice cross country trip to Foxboro the following week.

Chargers win by a comfortable margin. Hopefully the Bears get some good hits in, though.

The chargers in any easy win.

B E A R S with the upset.

My suggestion would be to give the points. The painful lesson of the need to stay focused and poised through the entire game learned at your hands in our last game of last season will not need to be repeated or relearned at the beginning of this one.

I'll take San Diego.

I'll take Chicago.

Norv Turner will snatch defeat from the hands of V, one of many times he'll do so this year.:rocker:

HMMM RB Cedric Benson against RB Ladanian Tomlinson

Long night for Da Bears

San Diego 23
Chicago 6

AFC over NFC in this one. Bears will be challenged to solve LT regardless of their staunch D. Chargers start slow, but running game leads them to V as they eventually wear down the Bears D.

San Diego 24
Chicago 13

Based on this standard, the Chargers should never lose as long as LDT is on their team. He will always be the best RB in the game he is playing, at least for the next several years.

That being said, SD wins.

I think Chicago will give San Diego a run for their money... Bears play tough on D, which could limit SD on offense... I HOPE Chicago wins, but to be honest, I don't really care.. I care about Week 2...

i predict the Bolts will W

I'm not sure if the Bears D can have a good yards allowed game. OTOH, the Chargers can be loose with the football and the Bears are arguably the best at forcing turnovers. Then again Rex is also loose with the football and will be facing the 3-4. Chi can stay in the game. I think this will be a shootout with scores from all three phases of the game. SD 31 Chi 24.

I'm with you.I don't care who wins this game. How ever I think that this will be a very low scoring knock down drag game.I'm going with Chicago winning by a field goal in the closing minutes.

I went to a few Charger training camp sessions. They do indeed look good, especially on defense. On a side note, while I wasn't a huge Weddle fan, he did look good. The Chargers talent on both sides of the ball plus Grossman means a fairly easy SD win.

Chargers romp......

Chargers 31

Bears 17

The Chargers are very good. The Bears are "NFC good." No contest unfortunately. Hope Chicago gets in some good licks and puts a hurting on San Diego before they fly East toward .500.
