FOUR QUESTIONS, ALL THE SAME
1) How close to 100% is Warren?
2) How close to 100% is Wright?
3) Is Samuel playing? Is he close to 100%?
4) How close to 100% is Wilson? Is he playing?

Now we are talking!!! I'm sick of hearing about Rodney out and Seymour out we have a game in a week and lets talk about that! Another ? is is Randy Moss going to play?

I think Wilson will play.
Warren will play.
Samuel will play.

Bradybunch, could you go under "User CP" (top menu), click "Edit Options" on the left side, scroll down to "Enable Private Messaging," and check that box? I want to send you a fixed version of your sig but you have PMs turned off.

Or, just use this link instead, and make sure your end tag is [/img]:

I didn't mention Moss on purpose. It really doesn't matter much if he plays. We have plenty of fire power on offense without him. I want to see Moss, but I can wait.

I want to focus on the player who CAN play, who are on the field. This is the way our coaches teach us to think isn't it?

Fixed it!!

Being that we're already missing some key defensive players, I don't see how they can not play Asante.

Here's another one... Is Gaffney healthy enough to start?

Gaffney is not good enough to start.

He was lining up as #1 WR in preseason before he got hurt, ahead of Stallworth, Washington, and Caldwell.

Finally some Jets talk! I think all the guys you listed will play, but Moss will not. How do you think we are gonna do? I saw the Jets 2nd preseason game (I was in FL and it was all that was available) and Pennington looked awful, just awful. 2 INTs returned for TDs by the Vikings and his coach chewing him out on the sidelines several times. I didn't see them again, but from what I've read Pennington had a terrible preseason with Kellen Clemons breathing down his neck.

Some questions about the Jets:

Is Thomas Jones still injured?

How are they going to shore up their O-line? (During the game I watched the commentator's blamed Pete Kendall's banishment to back-up center on their bad play and said it would be fixed when he was returned to his guard position - instead he was traded to the Redskins)

Are they really going to start their tardy-to-camp rookie at corner against us?

I bet Stallworth will start. He and Brady needed a little more time to get in synch it loooked like. He also provides the deep threat others have worried about, that if we don't have, will cause the Jets (and others) to tee off on Brady.

Richardson was lining up as a starting corner. Your point?

If I need to, I'll clarify. IMHO, Gaffney isn't good enough to start for this team. If everyone were healthy, I would have cut or traded him.

Well BB strongly disagrees with your opinion as Gaffney was getting reps at #1, Stallworth at #2, and of course Welker as the slot. Washington and Caldwell were backups or reserved for 4 or 5 WR sets.

I think Warren will play. That always seemed precautionary.

I think Moss probably will play. DEFINITELY precautionary.

I think Wright will play. Given Seymour on PUP, I'd have to think Wright is a lot closer to being healthy. Otherwise, maybe they'd keep an extra DL?

I have no clue about Geno. If we see Andrews/Meriweather and Sanders for Rodney, I think it'll be fine.

MGteich.... how many threads have you started today? you're a pro-bowler thread starter.

the bigger question on the jet game is how the pats offense is going to attck the jets def? i personally think you are going to see alot of run like in the carolina game and make the jets stop the pats straight up. i think both pats lines are going to push the jets around

Gaffney is reliable and good, he picked up the offense quickly last season, had two great playoff games. I think he's earned a spot on this team and is a starter.

???
Gaffney took all season to pick up the offense. I agree that he had two great playoff games. As far as starting, we knew we had Gaffney, Jackson, Caldwell and Childress (with Brown as an emergency #5). How satisfied were we?

Well, we then went out and secured our #1 through #4 receivers.

We shall find out.

Bam realistically never had a chance to produce. Kight moved ahead of him.

I'm still skeptical of Stallworth, he had one good season but he's never fully realized his potential. I'm a fan of Welker. Moss the jury is still out until he produces. and washington could be good but he has to prove he's better than caldwell and gaffney.

I've been way for a few days. There is a lot to discuss.
